I have also requested to leave. I received my 2nd lot of stamps, and loadsa stuff that i didnt quite understand. i have returned it all and requested them take me off the survey. It is good for those unemployed or who have a bit of time on their hands but it takes up tooo much time!
How is it time consuming???
It takes me 5 minutes a week to prepare the items, and probably 20 minutes a week to post them, i work, plus have a son to look after, and doing this is no hassle whatsoever0 -
Hi,
I have posted a couple of times already over the last few weeks and have been waiting for the dreaded 'sacking' e-mail but it still hasn't arrived.
I really am sure I must have been sacked because I have logged on yet again today and there is nothing in my schedule for next week either and this will be my 4th week of nothing!!!!
Shall I just e-mail them and ask them what is going on cause I would prefer to get the 'sacking' this way than on the phone?
I only done 2 weeks of training and I know others on here had the same before they were sacked too!!!
And advice appreciated?....

Why dont you just ring them??? If you have nothing for 4 weeks there might be a reason other than you being sacked. At least if you contact them youll know either way0 -
If it is taking you all that time to prepare your post you must be doing something wrong, the max time I take is 5 minutes, that is putting in Smart if required sticking on the R number sticker and writing out the address if needed. It shouldn't take 20 minutes to prepare your posting.Like good food and drink?

But have people received the last stamps we were promised (along with a formal letter of being told we're off the survey) as stated in their email? They said it would be with us in 2 weeks and it's now nearly the 4th week (if we count from 23rd Feb). Instead of these stamps I seem to be getting 'received items' here and there without an R number...
So is it only me or is everyone being deprived of their stamps?
I received my stamps on Saturday, and the letter was exactly the same as the email. I also emailed them about the parcel survey and haven't heard anything back from them.
Quite interested to know what this involves so would have liked a reply!:j:rudolf::rudolf::j0 -
hi fellow postal survey guys :hello:
just wondering, do you think your postman knows or suspects you are all involved in this survey?
my postie is lovely but maybe he thinks i am checking up on him and not just in it for the free stamps and shopping vouchers now and then!

Ive never thought about it until you mentioned it haha
My postie is lovely as well (pretty cute as well actually) but its Royal Mail as a whole thats being checked as our letters are monitored from the time theyre posted to when theyre received.0 -

flossyannThat shouldn't be your main reason for doing the survey  I am doing it to help route out the rogue posties (which I suffered a loss a few years ago, the postie involved has been sacked and appeared in court for theft) and help improve the postal system.:D

"I got the letter (I think it was the same as the email) plus a book of 1st Class and a book of 1st Class Large Letter stamps, on Saturday. I was still receiving items from other customers (with SMARTs) as recently as Wednesday!"
Ditto. Latest SMART arrival was yesterday. They'd added it to the to-be-returned list before the end of the day.
I think they might have sent out big white envelopes for the continuing item returns, rather than saying we should request them ourselves. Presumably they want to avoid sending any out unnecessarily, and their information system isn't up to picking out all those who will need one.
Do you think we're still being entered in the daily prize draw?0
