You only have to stick a yellow sticker on the envelope if the piece of opaper inside has not got an R number on it
    :)

Thank you to OP and all others - I applied Monday and got my first envelope today, with stamp books and 2 stamped envelopes to post next week. Somewhat disconcerted to see one has to be posted at a post office - nearest one is 4 miles away- 8 mile round trip assuming car available - will have to think about how to do that.
I also didn't have a yellow label for the big arriving envelope- I coloured one of the spare white ones with a yellow pen. If a yellow one turns up I can stick it one top I guess. I went on line and entered that it arrived ok etc.
Now trying to figure out the best storage and diary for future posting system to set up here.
