I don't think Freight Search should advertise it as a 24hr service & charge extra if it's not guaranteed. They should at least offer you a refund for the difference in price between the 24hr & 48hr service.

For future reference https://www.parcelcheap.com. are offering a next day DPD service up to 30kg for £9.50 or £9.30 if you buy 2 or more credits. They told me if parcels aren't delivered next day they will refund. So far all have arrived nextday. I think this is the best value service available at the moment & definitely a better alternative to DHL.

EDIT: freightsearch just got back to me with £83.99 to bolivia, and I just emailed the other guy to confirm his price.

EDIT 2: International Mail / Trevor just confirmed £23.51 to bolivia, plus the cheapest of £7.92 (by freight, or a little cheaper with interparcel after cashback) to get it to him. Seems he could be useful for a few obscure country ebay quotes

You can't defend a 24hr freight search service that's not delivering next day. A next day service that's not guaranteed is a 1- 2 day service no matter what success rate DHL may claim. Advertising it as 24hr is a bit of a con as most people will take it on face value. If this is not made clear then other people will make the same mistake. I support companies that are offering a viable alternative to DHL especially if they provide a money back guarantee on the next day service. Is there another company offering a guaranteed next day delivery for less than £9.50 or is parcelcheap the cheapest?

One thing I forgot to mention is check what insurance your get with Trevor, I don't think it's that high.

Looking for a courier preferably under £30 to collect a pair of side skirts from Crawley, West Sussex and deliver to Manchester as 1 parcel in bubble wrap/brown tape. The dimensions are L170cm H:8cm W:8cm Weight:5KG.

I've been looking at Interparcel Titan service coming up @ £9.85+VAT or Premium @ 13.99+VAT but don't see any mention of dimension restrictions or am i just blind most others i've looked at usually have max 120/150 or 160cm in length.

Couple of other quotes:

FreightSearch (DHL Next Working Day) - £24.89+VAT
Shipping Manager (P4D Trident 24) - £23.52 incVAT

Interparcel Titan are currently the best for long items. It is a TNT service who have maximum length of 3m.

p4d trident is also TNT, but the price is bizarrely calculated in the same way as DHL so it waste of time time tbh.

freightsearch can also do TNT but at the currently you have to email for a price. However I suspect at the moment they may not be able to match interparcel on price.
