Seems that DPD have died. Anyone know the cheapest 24/48hr dhl service?0

OK, they're not dead. Just seems to be a bug with their booking form.
Anyone having the same problem can email bookings to mail@directparceldistribution.com0 -
Does anyone know the cheapest company that imports stuff?
I have a 22kg parcel 43 x43 x43cm from Canada to UK.0 -
Hi
I had two parcels collected with Discount Delivery UK on Wednesday using there Parcel 750 service. When I first looked it said Parcel 650 but it looks like they've put it up £1. Anyway collected no problems and just had a call from my customer saying it's arrived (Friday). So all is well.
Also had an e-mail from them saying they have a new Tracking System as of Monday which will e-mail me each when the parcel is collected, in transit, delivered etc
Won't I know when it's collected? It will be collected from me? :rotfl:
If they can make it e-mail my customer at the same time that would be clever!

How have you managed to use that 750 as the website says collections aren't available till Monday?0

Am I missing something here?
I had to pay Freight Search £8.39 plus VAT two days ago for a std parcel on DHL 24/48 hr delivery.
I was paying much less before.
Any ideas?0 -
I used ww.freightsearch.co.uk a couple of times but anything over 15kgs seems to be charged at the £8.39 price. They still have a cheaper price displayed for parcels under 15kgs so good for that anything that size
the usual stuff i send is guitar amps so with www.parcelbroker.co.uk who are £7.99 plus vat for up to 30kgs with DHL
I still think you have to use a mixture of all the brokers out there to get the best package and obviously there is a lot of personal preference depending on the support you get from the supplier and what your product is.0 -
:T King brilliant stuff:j :j :j Fantastic  Well my parcels were picked up in London on Wednesday night 1610hrs and delivered to my door (in Canada) by DHL Friday 1730hrs - KING GREAT:T
My faith has been completely restored and many thanks to Transglobal Express for fielding my questions about the London DHL driver. Good experience all round and will use them again. I had to sell my left arm to afford the customs duty but I can get a bionic one over here cheap enough:rotfl:Currently 4 me its Rogers Contract cell phone, REBTEL.COM is the best mobile making and receiving calls to/from UK and Canada:beer:0
