  • parceldrop, p4d, shipping manager, interparcel, parcelcheap are all offering DPD so it's a good indication they are making moves on the reseller market. Parcelcheap are the cheapest & the booking system is fast, i've had no problems with them. Apparently they will be offering a competitive Parcelforce service in January so it will give options. I'm not going to pay DHL extra cash for the same service until they invest money into their system & make much needed improvements. One example is the those yellow forms DHL still use. Apart from the complete waste of paper they take too much time to fill in. DPD on the other hand give a small receipt that is completed prior to the driver knocking on your door even if you make a same day booking. This alone saves loads of time. It seems to me that DHL are out of touch with what customers need or just don't have the money to make changes.
  • I have questions!:p

    1) How do you do anchors on here? Ie. there are going to be headings at the top, the plan is click on what you need and the page will scroll down to reliant bits.

    2) payperparcel's cut-off is? Also any reassurances on the pre paid front, hallmarks of ppw, parceltree etc. very risky as paypal provides no protection.

    3) parcelmachine and this vat issue. are they registered or not?

    General points:

Any hint of fly by night and don't even expect to get a look in. Likewise with spam. Ton of bricks awaits.

DPD (geopost) are fine. I'm not sure where this notion that I have said anything to the contrary has come from. It's great for us (consumers) if other carriers want to get involved with re-sellers, apart from anything keep DHL on their toes. Likewise with UPS.

  • These guys sounded perfect however looks like they were too good...I went to their website and found an ominous message page. Then a few quick searches and I found the following text which was lifted from 'The London Gazette' - the publication you DON'T want your company listed in!

So another one bites the dust!

It looks like another Shafi's scam. https://www.goparcelgo.co.uk don't even have proper website, no address, no VAT number. Very strange don't you think?
    I wouldn't trust them.
  • I don't think goparcelgo have any connection with shafi but their website is suspicious, however smartparcels do/did have connection with him.

perhaps jordanryan can fill us in? for starters paypal won't accept their POD.
  • Hello
I am the owner of smart parcels and thought I had best reply to the comments.
We have nothing to do with Shafi (correct spelling)

Any questions ask, but please do not start shooting until you have established the facts

    Thanks
Shafi actively promoted smartparcels around September time, so you were obviously using his account.

    Who/what are goparcelgo?

I cannot remember or in fact see why Shafi would promote smart parcels - please let me know what evidence there is of this

The only connection to him is that we booked parcels though him, of which we were not the only one.

Please explain " for starters paypal won't accept their POD"

Go parcel are a delivery company with their own drivers who we have begun a partnership with to deliver bookings

Why they don't even have a website and what about tracking?
How can we track a parcel if there is no website?
It means that PayPal won't accept their Proof of Delivery
  • I'm afraid you don't get the liberty of me providing evidence, especially having had to put up with 'claire12' spam; you're in the blackest of black books.

....and why, because it's trial by association. Also if you cannot see why it was in his interest to promote someone using his account I am somewhat perplexed.

If someone files a INR claim or chargeback against you, and even if the tracking (I presume there is tracking) says delivered, paypal will not be interested as they are not on their approved list. Do they have anything to do with 'posty'?
