Please can anyone tell me if I should have an email confirmation of collection tomorrow from DPD? I paid for 4 items this morning to be collected tomorrow but have not received confirmation.

I don't think you get confirmation. I could be wrong as we only use them for Europe + World and we don't there, but I don't know about U.K bookings.

I have booked for 1 package to Europe and 3 UK. So how do I know that they will turn up tomorrow please?

i only use them for uk but get an email to this effect:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR DHL 24/48hr PARCEL DELIVERY ORDER
YOUR ORDER IS BEING HELD ON OUR SYSTEM.
AWAITING YOUR PAYMENT.
(IF YOU HAVE JUST PAID YOUR ORDER WILL BE PROCESSED)
ONCE YOUR PAYMENT IS RECIEVED YOU ORDER WILL BE PROCESSED

A drop every roughly every 5 mintutes!! Poor chap.

This is why when people kick up a huff; 'DHL are rubbish' 'should use a decent courier' 'i only went out for 10 minutes' kind of diatribe it just illustrates how little they understand to how everything works and in particularity how drivers hardly have the easiest job in the world.
