They are a little exspensive for Ireland deliveries though so if anyone could tell me a cheaper that would be great

http://www.payperparcel.co.uk/DHL Server outage 10 November 2008
All bookings made today that are showing as Awaiting Collection Confirmation within the My Shipments screen are currently delayed in processing on DHL servers, we hope to have an update very soon on this. Bookings made over the weekend or before this are unaffected and you are advised to check the My Shipments page to see Collection Booked status.
Telephones unavailable until 13:30 Monday 10th November
Please use the contact page on the website until 13:30 when normal operations will resume via the telehones.0 -
this is on direct parcel distributions failed collection form
Dear Customer
I unfortunately need to let you know that there has been a problem
with the booking systems at DHL. As you already know, our system
automatically links to DHL, however todays orders have been delayed
whilst DHL repair their system. This means that orders placed today,
for collection today, have not been processed.
I fully appreciate how inconvenient this is for you all. We are
working hard to make sure orders are booked for collection at the
earliest time, which realistically will be tomorrow.
Please accept our apologies for this situation.
Orders placed now will be processed as usual for collection tomorrow
and should be unaffected.0 -
Seems a widespread problem. A recurring theme with DHL on Mondays.0

yay, DPD are now using google checkout as well as paypal for orders  if you still wanna use paypal there's a 10p extra charge (on the 6.95 at least), which is actually less than it's costing DPD to accept PP over google. i've been trying to convince people to use GC for ages so nice to see it's getting wider use.
just remember to use your google email in the email section instead of the paypal one (even though it still says use paypal address). and if you don't have a google checkout account, get one at http://checkout.google.co.uk/ (if you already have a gmail or other google account, it's the same email).0 -

Closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.....yep direct parcel distribution are the cheapest I'm aware of for Ireland and pretty much every international destination for that matter. For domestic, it sounds like you have reasonable volume....probably worth checking out saletrack, example- 200/month would be about £5.25'ish+ vat I think.0 -

Surprised no re-sellers have taken up this option before when there is such big difference in fees, in industry with such small margins. Who'd of thought it 6 months ago.....DPD leading the field and setting the trends?!0 -
