I cut off the excess (left about 4/5 cm) then folded it in and down and sellotaped the end it stop in unfolding. Hope this makes sense.

I have seen one where the bag was twisted, tied and the excess trimmed.

I think even method works well.
  • Does anybody know if the 50x icing bags at lakeland are cellophane, or at least the material that everyone else are using?

    Hiya

All your snowman soup idea's are fab! What bags are you using? Are you using normal cellophane bags or actual cone shaped bags?

they are cone shaped bags that you can buy from ebay (glaendale26) or from lakeland, you dont have to use cone bags as many people on this thread have used normal cello bags or made the bags from cellophane.
    hope this helps

My profound excuses in advance--I'm not a coffee drinker, so if these ideas are silly I apologise :p
Replace drinking choc with coffee powder, use that coffee whitening powder in place of the choccie chips & add a few really thin bikkies you get in posh cafes?
Coffee beans, drinking choccie & after dinner mints? Perhaps with one of those little glass gizmoes--the name of which escapes me just now--to make a breakfast/elevens style gift?
That instant lemon tea powder--Lift? --dried lemon slices & sprinkling of mint?

    MALTESERS!!!!

*slinks away to check on the casserole*

Meant to ask if the poster using the HEAT SEALING thingie was getting any workable results? I am terrible for having these blinding flashes of inspiration & not following them through myself....:o
