yes using them for outside, get a piece of cello and fold point to point
then again , now cut along centre lines just like making piping bags

then use cellotape (if you have any double sided thats better) and stick to back.

  • For mine i used the food bag ties then cut off excess. With the chip bits / chunks on top of it in the outer cone bag you cannot see the tie.

I used inch long piece of sellotape and attached near the top and one piece at bottom of the candy cane. You cant even see the tape on mine.

I Also stuck my candy cane on one the seams of the celleophane too so it covers up one seam.

For my soups I used ordinary cello bags, I put the hot choc in one and sealed it with a bit of tape then I sat it in another bag and put the mallows in then the choc drops. I knotted it up with curling ribbon and then tied on the candy cane with another bit of curling ribbon. I wish I could add a pic for you to see but it wont let me

All the snowman soups look great!, i am still waiting for my bags, only 11 days after ordering them!!

I was thinking earlier, if this could work for mulled wine. By buying the spice/making the spice adding them to the cone and attaching that to a bottle of cheap red plonk?? But seen as though i have never made my own mulled wine i dont know if it would work or not.....

i am loving the milkshake idea, for easter!

    Hi all

Well after dipping in and out of this thread I've finally made my own snowman soups.

I've pinched ideas as I've gone along - bags within bags, stickers and how to attach the candy canes etc. Just got to make the labels at work tomorrow as my printer has just run out of ink
