I have now agreed to go for a run with my sister on wednesday  My sister doesn't do running, and thus I doubt we'll run it all

If I can force myself to go for my usual run tomorrow night after work then yea, I'm back in action. If not then no, I suck :p

well as predicted todays run was very tough - mostly due to the pair of sliver sparkly utterly gorgeous but ultimately killer heels i wore on saturday night
yesterday i could barely put my foot down never mind run

ans as also predicted - after all that hassle getting suz's podcasts onto my ipod - i used the non vocal week4 one as was just going to run so didnt need any cues - and i didnt really like it - but to explicit for my tastes
it did say it was explicit but was way more than i expected - i shall go back to the fabulous dj clear mix that i used on saturday next time

hope we are all doing ok * stern look in dreas direction*..........

Edit - forgot to post what i actually did do after all that
    5 min warm up
    13 min run
    3 min recovery
    6 min run
    5 min cool down
    approx 250 cals and 3.8km

omg- didn't realise it was explicit...oops!

I had a go at making my own music mix for week 7- I fiddled around for ages on itunes with start and stop times for different tracks (I really must get out more) and it ended up being really eclectic- Abba, Sinead O'Connor, Bjork, Eurythmics, some random Irish stuff, Katie Melua and Carla Bruni! I did the run earlier today and it's so much better doing it to music you actually like.

I don't know how to do the vocal cues, but for week 7 it doesn't matter anyway because there is only one 25 minute run. I just knew to start the run after the first 2 tracks which lasted 5 minutes, then to start the cool-down when I heard Katie Melua!

I'm going to do this from now on (hopefully I should get quicker at it!!)

Well I did try to figure out how to do that. Basically I don't know how to make the whole thing into one track (ie one file). If I knew how to do that I could post a link on Limelinx or Zshare. All I can do at the moment is post links for each separate track (there are 10 tracks in total)- therefore if anyone wanted my week 7 mix they would have to download 10 files- a bit of a faff.

Audacity is the answer to everything!

Except if you're using itunes, because it can't play m4a files

Wasn't sure what you were getting at 'til I thought to google 'Audacity'! I have downloaded it, but wow, it does looked complicated. I'm not sure my technophobe brain can cope...

I just want to know how to make 10 different tracks into one track (ie. one file)- any ideas?

It's not complicated as long as you haven't got itunes files. Where did your music files come from?

You just need to import your files into it - you'll see a lot of wiggly lines because it makes them into a pretty picture for you. this might help but just play around with it, because it's easy.
