Had a peek on the site, this is week three:
This week you'll have a Brisk five-minute warmup walk. You will then have 2 repetitions of the following:
Jog for 90 seconds, walk for 90 seconds, then jog for 3 minutes, and walk for three minutes. Then we will repeat the intervals jogging and walking for a total of about 15 minutes. We'll finish up with a 5 minute cool down.
I'm going out for my run now, stomach is still really sore but it's getting late so will just need to go.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Oh good luck Drea, I feel even more guilty now you are going at this time.0

Just back. I love how during the 5 minute warmup he is saying 'keep loose', it takes all my willpower not to cross my arms against that cold nevermind keeping loose!
I was quite proud of how easy I was finding it until I got a bit lost and started running fast to get 'unlost' quicker :rotfl:
Bit of a strange one but does anyone else find their minds wandering when they run? I tend to think about things I shouldn't really think about... if that makes any sense.
Moan moan moan :rolleyes:Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -

:rotfl: Nothing like that
I usually go out at night, by the time I get back from work and get my dinner it can be quite late but tonight was later than usual. Now get out there and do your runJust because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Hi all. Just checking in to say that I too have run today. 2nd run of week 2 and dear lord did I feel it.
I usually do a 10 minute warm up on the cross trainer before contemplating the run. After 3 minutes I thought there is no way I can do this today. I did finish it though and feel shattered.
Its good to see that we are mostly at about the the same stage in this and feeling generally the same. Will complete the Sunday run and think I may try to get to week 3.
Has anyone ever done Yoga/Pilates?0 -
Just a quick message before bed.

Get a free pedometer (or other stuff) by clicking that link and following the instructions there. I just ordered mine. It tells you how many steps you take, distance and how many calories are burnt. The codes run out tomorrow so hope some of you manage to get it.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Thanks Drea
Will go take a look.

Well I've just invested in a Polar Heart Rate monitor and I'm rather fixated at the moment on the 'calories used' readout
and I've only had it 2 days. A simple 40 minute dog walk used about 300 calories so I can't wait to see what [strike]running [/strike] plodding breathlessly uphill is going to do. :j
I plan to go out later this afternoon (waiting in at the moment for the washing machine repair man). Good luck to all going out today.
You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.
Oi you lot - pleaseGIVE BLOOD
- you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.
