Hi All
i am very unfit but would lvoe to join in please if you are still taking new recruits??
I have the added bonus that i have a small poochy that will feel the benefit too as he is becoming a bit of a couch potato too.
Although I do think I'll be running minutes instead of miles just yet.
xTime to find me again0 -
hiya sammy all new recruits are welcome, download the podcast and you too will be running 1 minute at a time, ive done week1 for 2 weeks and moving up (hopefully) to week 2 next week,

so dont worry about what your wearing or what you look like, just get out there and do itIf we can put a man on the moon...how come we cant put them all there?

Hi sammy and topdrawer, I've added you both to the list
got 19 people now! Although I don't think everyone on the list is running... will need to be deleting the people who aren't so we can see how many really are doing this. Not sure how to go about finding out though
Supposed to be starting week 3 tomorrow but absolutely no way will I manage it, will do another week of week 2 then try and go up to it I think.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Hi Drea
I don't think I'm on the list but I don't think I actually 'asked' to be I just sort of mustled in I think
Tomorrow 'should' be my first run of Week 2 but I said I still found week 1 hard so should probably repeat week 1 but today I have been questioning if I should push myself to start week 2 rather than repeating week 1 againAnyone any thoughts on that?

How about a couple more week 1 runs then give week 2 a go. If it's too hard then drop back to week 1 until you feel more comfortable.
You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Your on there now
I felt the same after week one, then I started wondering if I should just go onto week two so I did. Turned out it wasn't as bad as I thought (still bleedin hard though). I know for a fact this time that I'm not ready for week 3 though so will wait a bit for that

If it stops raining, I'm planning to start week 2 tonight. Then if I feel like I can't do it, I can just come back and do week 1 again tomorrow. If I do manage it, I get 2 days offMurphy's No More Pies Club #209

OMG I DID IT :j
After the worst run ever on Tuesday I just had the best run of my life. I felt like I could run forever! It just all clicked, and I did itIt didn't stop raining, but I really wanted to go
so I just went anyway. I wore a jumper, a vest top and then a t shirt over the top, and took gloves, so I wasn't cold.
And, ha! You all have to run tomorrow and I don'tMurphy's No More Pies Club #209
