Ok.
Extra salt + stock cube + marmite + white wine (for me)and it tastes pretty good.
I have had to put it outside the back door to cool down.
Knowing my luck, some passing badger will lever the top off and sample some
I feel I am destined to not be one of the great soup makers of the world
But I will eat every drop.
For the next 6 months.
I can alternate it with the last batch I put too much broth mix in so it came out like a cake :rotfl:0 -
There is a funny noise outside my bedroom door and I have just been watching Most Haunted.0

Loopylou. if your baby is a day late it will share my birthday!!!
Hi Lingojingo,
They sent me an email through a company called Integr@. I do some for pinec!!e research and they might have got my name through them.
It took a couple of hours but I had a week to complete this one. I am hoping to get all (most:o ) of my gifts moneyneutral next year, so this is a starting off point. I am very much a novice at the survey game, but am learning a bit at a time. There are some that pay 10p a survey, I personally do not think that these are worthwhile. Pinec!!e pay £4 per survey in luncheon vouchers, so I have £20 of these. There's a thread on here somewhere about surveys, you should have a look at that.
I am sure that there are others on this thread who are much more experienced than me. I think that Lynda done one where she got a really good iron for not a lot of money via a survey, perhaps you can refresh my memory Lynda (Please).

I do NOT want to know what it means.
My internet has been off all day and only started working again about half an hour ago. Bl**dy A*L:mad: . My to-do list should have been called my "don't hold your breath" list. I only did washing up, washing and picked some tomatoes off the plants today. I spent the rest of the day trying to get the poota to work, I did vacuum the bedroom and landing though :T . Getting up at 11am probably didn't help matters:rotfl:. My new coat turned up today, it's purple and cost £89  . I also got 2 Playhouse Disney DVD's which I won, another "cheap" pressie me thinks!
Hugs to eveyone who needs them, and Nyk - good luck with the rest of the move (hope you get back online soon).
SL - Well done on your practising, can't wait until Jan.
Janey -Boo!! (sorry couldn't resist)

I know what's bothering me, I just have to sort it out. but thanks for caring. xx
Oh yes music is essential for blitzing my flat - today was Scissor Sisters
I made the mistake of setting foot inside Tesco this evening... and left 2hrs later £45 lighter... and after all that I forgot to use up the rest my Tesco gift card! I did however invest in a slow cooker for the princely sum of £9.96 :j Wooohooooo! I must have hit timing just right for the reduced stuff so my slow cooker will be filled with various random things like carrots (12p/bag) and potatoes (40p/big bag) for a random veg stew/soup tomorrow! I also got a billion cox's apples at 40p/bag (my favourite). I should be able to last aaaaagggeeeeesss with all this lot - possibly through most of Dec too with fruit and veg top up! I can't actually fit anything more in my freezer (in fact had to have something for tea as it wouldn't fit in :rotfl: - it was already fairly full thanks to 2 free loaves of bread thanks to L!dl last week) and my store cupboard is looking very healthy too.
I did have a nightmare carrying it all home though - carrying a heavy rucksack, multiple reusable bags, a mop and a slowcooker = "fun" walking up the road to the bus stop :rotfl: Shopping is really one of the few times I feel like learning to drive sometime would be a good idea! We'll just quickly gloss over the pair of jeans and bag of donuts (reduced to 16p) that jumped into my trolly too...Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

taka my eyes might be aging but I can still spot someone trying to hide a purchase;)
But they could be cost neutral with all your bargains :T
My soup survived any passing wildlife and I now have to find room in the freezer to store it.
I do not know what the noise was outside my door. It definitely wasn't cats as they were all shut in the kitchen. I was letting them into my bedroom at night but the sound of bones being crunched on the carpet is a bit off putting
I have a Dr's appointment with Occ Health today in another town which is 40 miles away. How I would be expected to get there if I didn't drive I have no idea. It would cost a fortune and take all day.
And I am on sick pay.
Feeling a bit low today. It's so quiet without DHI have the TV or radio or music and my lovely cats but they can't make you a cup of coffee or give you a big hug. One of my cats tries
I will leave early so I can have a look around the charity shops while I am out. DH and I used to do that as well and it does make me sad but I am on the lookout for books to sell on the site named after big butch ladies.
Have a lovely day everyone and hope Nyk has survived the bull/sheep/deer.0
