Nyk hope you are safely settled in front of roaring fire by now :D
SF hope today is better :grouphug:
Bails calm calm is the Mantra ;)

As an aside....PV is a bit disconcerting. To me, as a former Midwife.. does not mean what it means on here :rotfl:

I am making a huge pan of soup which is having lots of bits and pieces chucked in. Not very Jamie Oliver but smells nice and is very frugal :T

Are you spying on me Taka? (this ^ is exactly what I'm doing :rotfl:)

You'll be relieved to know I've just got back from my counselling session and am a lot calmer/happier :o I have a new path to take which, thankfully, has nothing to do with anyone working in a government programme :j

Soup sounds lovely Janey, if I could fit some in around the Gal@xy I'm currently troughing, I'd ask for a taster :D
In my experience Taka, decluttering always takes far longer than expected. Would putting on some of your fave tunes help pass the time?

I'm off now to do something fun - yes, fun and with no ulterior motive whatsoever ;)

Definitely, I've already chosen some CDs for the weekend, I usually dance-declutter :D and sing along (loud and totally out of tune. So much more fun, can def recommend it. And great to p*** off the annoying students next door and above and below :A.

    Hello everybody:

Nyk: They weren't cows, they were young bulls, I think they were snipped thou. Today I chose a different field. I hope the bulk of your move is now behind you and all has gone well.

Mice: where I lived previously we were riddled with mice. They ate everything: rice, dogfood, breakfast cerials... I was fighting a losing battle (with no support from my now ex) and one evening after having missed Mr T delivery (as got stucked on wrong side of the level crossing for 15 mins) I lifted the cooker lid and had a little mouse sitting there in the middle of the cooker I completely lost it and I am surprised the scream (not form fear, from sheer frustration) wasn't reported in the evening news. I was soooo glad to get out of there.

Bails: I am glad you are feeling more positive. I have sent you a text today.

Slowlyfading I hope you are feeling better today.

Chocolate: I have had a chocolate day as well. Nothing to do with mood I was just so hungry and tired. I did eat whoopsied egg and cress sandwich first before eating awful lot of C@dbury's double chocolate mmmmm.....

DD just managed to get her tenth star and got her parcel that had lovely hand made clown in it. The clown is taller than her and she is walking it around the sitting room now. Thank you soooo much - you know who you are!!!! :smileyhea

It is a bath night for me tonight as Tuesday is my filthy, mucky, stinky day. Off now to do my scrach cards and curly quizzes while I wait for the water to heat up. Have a relaxing night everybody.

Well, I didn't like to mention it, (as another former midwife). I really don't think it should be shortened!

When I was training one of the students had the initials VE, also very disconcerting!

Nyk - waiting to hear that you're safely (and warmly!) installed in your new home - have a virtual welcome drink on me

Soup is a disaster. Tastes of nothing

    It has
    chicken stock,
    chicken meat,
    leek
    carrots
    onions fried in butter
    tinned tomatoes
    cabbage
    broth mix
    herbs
    bay leaf
    salt & pepper

    now getting desperate :rotfl:

    tabasco
    worcestershire sauce

    Short of Bach's rescue remedy....what else ????

You make it sound like this isn't the way it's supposed to be done
Is there really an alternative
If there is, then no-one's ever told me about it ;)
