 how did we cope without computers

Can't wait to get my PC back, SOOOOOOO many spreadsheets to update.
Are you trying to flush out us oldies who can remember? :rotfl:
Actually at that time all you could do was plot graphs manually, but, also the financial products for the majority of us were much simpler and no internet and web so we couldn't move funds around either.

    Anyone remember the ZX80? :o

I do hope your spreadsheets are backed up somewhere; hate to think of you losing those if the HD failed

Stuart I do save onto a stick every month so at worst I would have to recreate 4 weeks worth......... actually, that would probably be fun :rotfl:

Did what for me was a big shop in Tesco's today . Back to Lidl next week I think. I must make sure I throw out the receipt so I don't compare prices :o. I did get my favourite Lady Grey T bags at 1/3 off though so bought 3 boxes :D

Tomorrow I will be inputting today's MS's (can't be bothered tonight :o), doing one more and doing some batch cooking. What fun :)

    :o confession time :o

Just spent £899 on furniture & another £200 to go for a TV . In my defence for that I've bought furniture for DS & spare room (ex DD's) - 1 double & 1 treble robe, 1 dressing table, 1 desk & 1 chest of drawers. Have been looking for a while & this is by far the cheapest I've seen & both rooms have been a mishmash of furniture for years. It had all been reduced in price, some significantly so, and I did get an extra £26 pounds off :o. I actually was prepared to walk if they hadn't made a gesture* so was happy enough. So, the deed is done, and I won't have to pay for it till late July.

Still, have earned around £130 in MShopping this week, including 3 lunches, every little helps :rotfl:. One to do tomorrow, then one Sat then no more booked , will have to keep trawling round.

    Hope all are well

    gg x

*Obviously DS would then have been sent in to buy ;).

    :o:rolleyes::think::whistle:

Ahem........ No, in that I have furniture in the bedrooms already and this is replacing it. However, none of it matched. I have wanted to replace it for years, and as I hope to move to Spain in the next 10 years I thought I should get plenty value from it :rotfl:.

Juts buying DS's TV at the mo. Have found a good one for £175 & code for free del. Annoyed though as they were offering £10 off until yesterday . Still, payment spread over 3 months at no extra cost and 4.5% cash back so mustn't be too downhearted.

Now off to buy ink cartridges and BTL insurance. Can't really be bothered shopping around for insurance but I will be good and do it. :)

    I'll flog it then :)

Glad I made the effort to check insurance - got it around £45 cheaper and 12 months interest free credit :T, also hopefully £90 cashback (never used the company before so we'll see).

What a faffing about to order the ink - I used google checkout and my stored card, forgetting it had been cancelled - ended up with my new card blocked & had to phone CC co. In the end, 3 black & 1 colour cartridge for £32 so not too bad.

Now looking for TomTom for DD - turning out to be a dear few days _pale_.

Last jobs for the night are to sort out & update spreadsheets & tidy desk - see you in a few days :)

I see you too are having high spend at the moment; that must be why the statistics are improving for the economy :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm just deferring some purchases until after the credit card bill runs on 18 of the month; it all helps a little.
