Thanks Jamtart, will have a look at B&Q! I've got a local independant wardrobe company coming to measure up tomorrow and we've also had a couple of carpenters in to take a look. Will keep you updated :)
thanks little rose congrats on the engagement too!:j we are getting married this year, feel newly engaged (even though its been over a year!) as last year was such a whirlwind I didn't have chance for it to sink in, so it's all exciting now!! :D

did you just look for joiners in the yellow pages? I wouldn't know who to ring really!

B&Q website stock all the bits but I don't know which bits are needed, hence why I haven't been brave to order it yet!:rotfl:

Thank you! It's all very exciting :j we're aiming for a late summer wedding so lots to do!

My fiance found them, either in the Yellow Pages or googling carpenters in our area. Also worth checking your local paper, there should be a section of local trades people.

I had a look on B&Q, I so wouldn't know where to start! I might get the wardrobe company to come and quote, measure up and tell us what we need and then see if we can do it via B&Q/carpenter for cheaper?!

If you like thats sort of electric shower, check out Mira Azora and Mira Galena. My understanding (i may be wrong as i don't have much experience apart from one triton that had to be replaced after 2 years) is Triton aren't as good as they used to be and mira are better.

A game of spot the difference for you:

.....so if you are set on the Triton one..get the wickes one instead!

when we were in B&Q ordering our bathroom, they had a notice up saying they would fit their sliding wardrobes for £500. Not sure if this is a good price or not though!

We've now got half a tiled bathroom and......a bath! Had a bath tonight in the new bath and it was blissful. :p

I bought the shower at Wickes last night before it went back up to £199. It markets itself as aquatronic but had Triton logoed somewhere discreetly. Anyway, offered it up with taps etc to the tiles and think it's goign to look lovely! It's being started a week on Monday by this threads very own BootyUK (?!). Not so MSE not doing myself however we are extremely busy with work at the moment and just fancy 'handing the keys over' tbh and having a brand new bathroom 9 days later! :)
