    Hiya,

Another day working at home as the roads are too icy to risk a 30 mile drive! Wish I could work at home all the time!suisidevw - We bought this one from Bathstore and Im very happy with it! It looks lovely and all the fixings were really good quality! Theyve got a sale on at the minute too!

Maggie - Sorry to hear about the problems at the caravan! I hope it isnt too bad! Also I don't blame you for nto venturing outside, its horrible out there but very pretty to look at :D Glad to hear the de-humidifier is working a treat too!
I also need to get some birdfood ordered, bless the little things, bet they are struggling at the minute!

latecomer - I bet youre looking forward to a holiday after all the hassle with the builders! I hope you get a schedule sorted with them soon too! Most trades people are a pain in the as*!

littlerose12345 - Congratulations on the engagement! Youre going to be very busy with a wedding to plan and a house to renovate!

lollol - Welcome to the gang! I hope you will post some piccys for us to look at :D

TM - Stuarts Dad is just the same as TD, has to have the heating on full blast whereas before he never wanted it on! I cant remember if I said but he had 75% of his liver removed to get rid of a rare form of cancer and it seems to have worked :T so everyone is mending well :T

Nothing to report house wise other then more sorting of our stuff, Ive lost count of the number of skip runs weve done!

    xxx

I know what you mean. I liked the fact that when it's folded away it looks very tidy and will make the room appear slightly bigger, but when open, it's a little ugly...!

Might be worth a look at the Twyford bath screens:
    Geo6: http://www.showers-direct2u.co.uk/ishop/1068/shopscr1752458873.html
or the more expensive Hyd8: http://www.showers-direct2u.co.uk/ishop/1068/shopscr1752458874.html

We've got the Geo6 but a quadrant enclosure rather than a bath screen and happy with it. Well priced for 6mm glass! That's the place we bought ours along with valve and shower tray...though you could try your local PTS whom i believe sell Twyford Geo6 amongst others.

VERY ugly! alas, will have to consult my wife, this bathrooms all adding up but it SHOULD be lovely compared to the 70's peach suite/tiles we have in there now! Roll on 25th Jan! Didn't realise you're engaged, congrats, you've got an exciting year or so in front of you!

Thanks for the link Lisa, our bath isn't curved but straight however it IS from the bathstore....... Their other screens appear to be pretty short, a problem that many people have talked about recently being 850mm or so?!

    Thank you! :)

We wanted a curved but couldn't fit one either, in fact we had to go for a shorter sized bath too!

Luckily we've got a 1700x750 so should be OK space wise, what's the size of yours?

Thanks for links Andy, will call PTS now :)
  • I think ours was 1500 or 1600!
