True - I love Zed - the voice of reason...not emotions! Can you not give me your wordly advice on my problem.......

Do you have a problem now? Looks like circumstances have conspired...

You are like something off a programme I used to watch...where a voice used to be the voice of reason....now what was it (or am I off on one of my fantasies again)

    morning all!

oooh spud big news! 5 years off DMP is great, and a big chunk off....

i don't understand IVA's or DMP's as such as never really looked into them in my circumstances... i'm sure you'll do what you need to for the best.

Jane - sorry to hear you were feeling a bit meh and ouch at the sore neck. I know what you mean about the housework, mines has been backing up lately: mountains of clean washing, upstairs needs hoovered badly and these last couple of sunny days have shown my windows right up!!!

The washing pile is so bad that when i went to switch off erin's nightlight before i went to bed at 1145 last night, i ended up spending 30 minutes hanging up/putting away the clean clothes mountain that was in her room......!! not normally what i would do at that time of night, but it had to be done! - hey and at least it's clean washing right??!

As you say DD - not enough hours in the day, days in the weekend!!!

Sammy - with your skills you will be working from home and making a blimming fortune anyway! plus i'm sure nannie will still be happy to be the babysitter in the traditional sense of the word once she retires....? are you bringing chloe on the 17th?

Not sure Maz, whats everyone else doing - are you bringing erin? Would love to meet her..

I knew you lot would help me :D

DH just panics when it comes to our debts, CCCS, creditors etc, so isnt much use really.

I think we'll keep plodding on with our DMP. The IVA doesnt sound like it's for us ;)

Erin will be with me yes definately.... she's got her sleeping bag (lovely girly flowery one for £5 from charity shop at the weekend! also will be used for upcoming brownie camp!) and she just can't wait!! She met freya n joe at the Glasgow meet, so is keen to see her friends again.... as erin has her sleeping bag and will be on the floor, surely there will be room for another little one, we'll check with bunny.....

I'm so looking forward to meeting you, and i think snaggles might be coming too..!:j

If you fail to keep up with the terms of a DMP - your creditors can whinge and moan and obtain CCJs etc (though see the thread about the new charging orders)

If you fail to keep to the terms of an IVA (for whatever reason), then you will be made bankrupt.
oh I didn't know that

Spud it's VERY admirable to persevere especially when your original DFD was 28 year off  :T

Still busy  drowning in paperwork, but still found time for a coffee break

I usually only make the phone calls etc when he's in bed, he worries too much otherwise. I only rang CCCS to make an appointment, but they offered to do it there and then

He hadnt a clue what an IVA is, but I showed him your responses, and he says thanks to you all for the advice and support :D

Thanks Daph. If only it took us as long to get in debt, as it does to get out of it

    Enjoy your :coffee:
