  • Morning all - what a beautiful weekend, did not do anything terribly exciting but it was quite nice. Went Greyhound racing and won £35 from £6 which was not bad and basically made out evening evens which was quite cool.

Anyways think I might do some Flylady today as it is not too harsh!!

Here is today's picture, it is of my 20 month Border Collie Blaise.

I didnt want to put the heating on at the weekend but OH had a bad cold and was shivering...so I put it on for an hour:D

I hope I dont make the back worse but I still need to drive to take the boys to school:o and work is right next to their school so I might as well go in, I am not teaching till tonight so I can just take it easy and do all my planning for the week......day off tomorrow:j

  • Morning everyone :)

Sammy I need to start thinking ahead to Christmas too, I have soooo much to do and organise in the house - I kept saying 'we will get it all done by the time I am back to work' - well, I am back to work, and it ain't done, so now I am saying by Christmas. I am thinking of being very un-MSE and outsourcing what I can though. i.e. decorate the kitchen, and Elliot's room, maybe clearing out the garden. There are just never enough hours in a day, and not enough days in the weekend! We are lucky to live in a beautiful house and a lovely area BUT it was very neglected before we moved in - so there is a heck of a lot to do and the house is not in the condition of it's neighbours. I only wish we owned it, but enough of that!

I'm sorry I don't have anything constructive to say on the job front but I feel EXACTLY the same! We thought I'd stay at home but it is a big risk if I quit work - OH is a contractor, he does CAD work on construction sites and with the economy the way it is we can't take his job for granted. After childcare I don't come away with a lot but it will be very important if his work slows down. Yet I don't know what I want to do... I was going to ask to work from home today too! But I've got a stupid meeting  maybe tomorrow

Cat those bags are lovely! and you got a bargain surely! :money: I am after a new bag  something to fit my new laptop in, drink for the baby, toys, snacks, and all that crap you carry around with a baby!

Hope we can see a picture of your tattoo today jinks? :D

Well I am really busy at work and shouldn't be on here  no really I have loads to do, I think I left my motivation in the shower this morning.................

Hugs to all that need/want them today :grouphug:

    Morning All..............
I have decided that this is the week I do something about the mess that is my home!! So after work I will tackle one maybe two rooms and perhaps do a bit of ironing.
I didn't get anything done yesterday as I woke up with a bad neck and couldn't bend or turn my head so I spent the day in bed....... which was well needed even if it meant I didn't go shopping which was properly a good thing!
I hope everyone has a good day.............. Jane

Hmmmmmmm just had my CCCS annual review. All went fine, can afford to increase payments which will reduce our plan by 5 years :D

    But

She suggested we could look into going for an IVA, and be DF in 5 years, rather than 14 1/2 as it is now. Never even thought of it before. Anyone got any opinions

Well, well, just when I am wondering what to do, something comes along and kind of makes the decision for me.

My childminder told me this morning she is thinking of retiring. Well, I think she has done the thinking and has made her mind up.

She is going part time in January and then giving up completely in June...so I think I will just do the same....it give me time to plan and try and get myself sorted. Not sure work will be too happy but what can I do.

I am now working from home today.
