    Afternoon all, especially the newbies:wave:
Planned to do loads today, but so far have only been to open a new bank account, dropped off cards etc at DS1 (22 today), had lunch & come on here! Baby dead tired but wouldn't give in for nap until after 2. Need to get on with stitching work & make Christmas cards, kitchen like a bomb site, bathroom yucky & need to start soup for tea - don't feel like any of the above tbh, but hate wasted days.
Cool, breezy & damp here - did lots of washing over weekend, so it's all waiting to be ironed - another job waiting, drat!
Hugs etc if you need them, congrats likewise - see you later.:grouphug:

    Afternoon all.

First and foremost, ((((hugs)))) for all who are sad/worried/unwell/p'd off/just want one.

It's really dark at the mo - I think it's going to rain soon. I've had to put the light on just to see my keyboard! (It's OK, it's a low energy bulb;) )

Not been online for a couple of days, as I had hospital appointment Friday and tend not to go online at weekends.

Hospital went well; the doc in the pain clinic says I can just stay on the morphine under my GP's supervision, with the option to up the dose if I feel I need to (my prescription is for one or two tablets twice daily plus Oramorph syrup in between at need) and just ask to be referred back to him if the GP and I feel it's necessary. So the only person I have to see at the hospital is the Rheumatologist, and I don't have to go back to her til next September.:j
Had a busy weekend - nothing wondrous, but Mr LW and I got lots of cleaning and tidying done, and a fair bit of baking. Am shattered today (as is usual on Mondays) so having a quiet day today. Tea will be the 2nd half of yesterday's Quorn cheese and tomato quiche.

Mr LW is working from home tomorrow, so hopefully I'll feel well enough to do soya shepherds pie (which he loves).

    Have a good day everyone.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Heidiboo - sounds like you are nesting to me! Good luck!

    Afternoon All

Not feeling great today - girls will understand why:rolleyes: :o Work was really quiet, so hoping tomorrow will be a bit more lively.

Having chicken korma for dinner with left over meat from last night's roast. Not much of my apple crumble left, so obviously that went down well:rotfl:

Sorted out all my old but wearable bras to send a charity I found on the charity board.

Done my daily clicks and surveys, so can have a relaxing evening.

    Hope everyone's ok

    evening!
thanks to everyone for their kind thoughts today. I took some flowers to the grave this afternoon - Mum had left a beautiful arrangement there with a card with a beautiful poem on it - had me in floods of tears. I went for a cuppa with her and my sister earlier.

Anniestar - good luck with the interview!

heidiboo - hope you get some action with the little one soon - I was 11 days overdue with number 2 before they did anything!

Kaat_Lady - hope you soon feel better x

am just waiting for dinner to cook - quorn cottage pie and veggies.
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Evening All
Work was a nightmare today, not because I was busy, but because 2 people threw strops in my room. I really wasn't in the mood, they both seem to think they are the only one whose life isn't perfect, they both got very short shrift from me & now neither of them is talking to me, so thats a result.
Big Hugs to those in need, welcome to all the newbies, fingers crossed for Heidiboo.
PP, I'm sorry, but I laughed til I cried when I read what happened to your poor OH, though I know it's not nice really.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Afternoon everyone,

I've not read much so (((HUGS))) to all who want/need them.

Heidiboo ... Hope everything moves on now x
    CravingSaving .. WELCOME :D
Anniestar ... Nice to see ya, to see ya ....

I need to make some sort of sweet potato soup in SC and make a pineapple cake tonight. I could also do with hoovering and dusting ... but I can't see that happening until tomorrow.

Hardup Hester ... Hope the atmosphere improves at work ... not nice to have negative 'vibes' all day.

    Luv Jet xx
