Dont think its the best weekly/fortnightly deal - but better than a few others, get the meal and the poppadoms £3.50 - very good.

I actually think this is a great offer. Perfect for a Saturday night in on the cheap. :)

  • Not a beer I would buy at full price but at £2 for 4 bottles will defo be worth a change
  • I'm a Yorkshire lass, and My Morrisons is the original one. Well, it's been rebuilt a few times, but It's more or less on the original spot.

I have tried the other supermarkets, but have always found Morrisons to be the cheapest.

They were the original BOGOF'S, although at the start of the 'crunch', I said they'd sell more if they halved the cost of the product instead of giving you one free. The following week, the half price offes started!

I guess all I'm saying that they do seem to cater for everyone - they have the cheapest range through to the finest, so everyone is happy.

    I'll continue to support Morrisons.

  • Can I ask when is this offer on til?

Our Morrisons is rubbish, the fresh stuff has a life expectancy of a few hours after purchasing! it really is shocking, however I tend to drive out to the bigger one and shop there if I choose to shop at morrisons for a change.

We went for our weekly shop last night and we do seem to get more for our money than in other stores. I do like the layout too, you don't end up wandering back and forth looking for items to complete meal plans.

As for the credit crunch items they were completely out of the meals for two and poppadums, sadly, but we did get a pack of Cobra and two of the mango chutney jars. We usually buy the squeezy bottle of this anyway, but will use these to refill it.

  • seems a lot of people like the layout so you may not be to amused to know that morrisons are in the process of a refitting stores, so far from what ive seen they seem to be moving a lot about, toiltries are now were we had dvds and tinned stuff near the tills, salad bar has got a lot bigger, theyve trebled the sandwich displays and moved it so you can pay at the kiosk and dont need to queue up in the main store.

also the petrol stations (not sure if its all) are getting new pumps put in so you can pay at the pump or in theside, i thinkits something to do with new regulations on the pumps but not 100% on that.

A few supermarkets seem to be doing that recently, our nearest Tescos already have and Sainbury's are doing it right now. Will make filling up with a three-year-old and newborn a lot easier and safer that's for sure. :)

yes it is some new thing, where any gases/vapours that come off now have to be let out underground, rather than into the air like they used to be(this will be the same for every forecourt in the country), so at the same time, they are also changing the pumps, its a shame the gas, electricity, water etc people don`t work like this, gas dig up a road one week, water dig up the sme road the week after.
Take every day as it comes!!
