    Which supermarket are these from?

OMG, you've been quiet for a while.

They're not, they're from a small independent outlet (technically not a Butchers either).

You've got to bare in mind the size, the price will also depend on how big the sausage was!

I think your telling porkies, yours better thn mine:p , from a supermarket? mmmmmmmmmmthe turkey twizzlers must have been contaminated :rotfl: :rotfl: what super market ??

Waitrose (the most expensive of the main supermarkets) sells free-range Gloucester Old Spot sausages at £5.99/kilo. So a dozen of these would cost less than a fiver.

Where on earth are you buying sausages at £7 for 12, Tim?

    I'm delighted that you've missed me :)

What kind of outlet is it that's not a supermarket and not a butcher's?

Whatever it is, you're being ripped off.

Haven't seen them in Waitrose, maybe depends on branch, I like their extra lean pork sausages from the Deli/Butchers counter.

As I said it'll depend on the size thought, they're obviously charged by weight. Mine are quite big!

    I'm sure they are.

Are you saying that this specialist butcher's meat is better than Tesco's?

As I said, six of one half a dozen of the other. Sometimes I've had better meat from Supermarkets than Butchers etc. Steak is a classic example, I've had really good steaks rom Asda and rubbish steaks from Butchers.
