Tesco meat is often off, or goes off within date. Even if it's not actually off, you can see it is beginning to, and they ahrdly ever have free range chicken in stock. But our butcher isn;t open evenings, and I don't food shop at weekends, so what can you do? DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Gloscester old spot sausages.
Funny thing is I'll spend as much as £7 on 12 sausages, which most people won't not even those that frequently go to a Butchers/Farm Shop. I also buy Supermarket meat & know for a fact you can get just as good meat from a Supermarket as you can a Butchers. Maybe it's because I go early whilst theres a good selection? Maybe it's because I don't keeep food before cooking it?
I don't know, but wht I do know Lone Ranger is you're talking a load of sarcastic crap!0 -
The Farm Shop at Chatsworth House has excellent meat. You practically need a second mortgage to shop there but everything is absolutely delicious. Lovely rare breed sausages, estate lamb plus lovely thick bacon. That's the only place I buy sausages from now.0

Correct i never asked you to name a rare breed pig, just wondering why you felt the need to name one ?? also what are the benefits of a glouster old spot sausage why did you buy that sausage?? was it becouse of the inflated price??, why not wild boar sausages?? or another breed , what was the benefit to you of buying glouster old spot sausages??? whats the differance.
