How do you know they're phasing them out?“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Bloody hell, I'm stocking up then too. Always seem to be low on stock on these, so makes sense.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Tried the Wheatfield Bakery Wholemeal Farmhouse Discount Brand (there's a mouthful!) and it was yummy! Much better than tesco value bread which i always find a bit dry. But last week they substituted a "best of both" Wheatfield loaf and it was rubbish. All thin and pappy.0

I like the tinned tomatoes with herbs, they are great for a base sauce for with pasta etc. I also like the bacon and have tried the sliced packed ham an that was nice to. I find with the pizza's they are nice but a bit small lol.
On the whole I have been happy with the discount products I've tried and I don't mind buying the value products either lol!!! xx0 -
we always buy a lot from the value range, and most of it is perfectly fine - the only thing I would avoid is certain sauces (mint sauce and pickle are REALLY gelatinous...bleurgh..., but ketchup and mayo is fine).
as for the discount brands, I recently noticed that it's about 10p cheaper for their discounter orange or apple juice cartons, as opposed to the blue stripy! same quantity of stuff but much nicer packaging, as well as a plastic pouring cap thing instead of a fold up cardboard corner. have been buying it ever since and highly recommend it!0 -

What's happened to the value washing-up liquid? Haven't seen it for months. The Daisy stuff is expensive and rubbish. Where can I get cheap and good washing-up liquid?0 -
Hi
