Hi All,
Anyone tried out the new 'discount' brands TESCO is now stocking?
I'm a keen money saver... but have my moments when shopping at Tesco or Asda!
Any views/reviews?

I bought one of their 30p brown loaves the other day and it was surprisingly acceptable.0

The £1 packs of ham, (120g I think) were not bad as far as packet ham goes.Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0

We had their dry cure bacon this morning and it was lurvely!!!
Think it's £1.59 for a 250g pack.0 -

I tried the washing up liquid branded 'daisy'. Don't bother! Nowhere near as good as the other tesco stuff, morning fresh or fairy. It takes loads to get stuff clean (and I'm well stingy with it normally!). Yeah, the value butter is down to 50p from about 80p. Tesco must be desperate to get us spending (aint working here though). I noticed the 'daisy' washing up liquid doesn't have the usual 'if you're not delighted then return for a full refund' thingie on the back. Is this a sneaky way of tescos avoiding complaints? Just a theory0
