Just wait the 10 days and then paypal will force the refund.

  • Yes - but given the fact that the Seller actually put on the paypal dispute that she was not sending the item and that she was not refunding either, surely paypal should be able to step in and do it since she won't!

Ah the joys of paypal. lol

The only thing I could suggest is wait the ten days which is a pain in the butt. Paypal as we know are a law unto themselves.

Quite a refreshing post, having lurked here for sometime I thought it was just the buyers who got a stating.

    Congrats.

It will be interesting to see what messages the seller sends you now if any.
  • As a seller maybe I should tighten up. I usually wait 7 days before I even start chasing and then normally issue a non-payment dispute after 10 days if I haven't heard anything.

Would that be because the buyer has 7 days to pay?

    but e-bay actually says
'All sellers appreciate quick payment, and we suggest that you pay for the item as soon as you win an auction or buy a fixed price item.'
    and
'sellers do have the option to file an unpaid item dispute if they have not received payment after at least 7 days from the date the listing ended'

Incidentally I do think the seller in this case is crazy.

I agree with what you saying and personally when I bid on something usually its at the last minute so I pay immediately if I win.

However rules are rules to be fair and if ebay says you have 7 days to pay then you got 7 days.

If some sellers such as the one the op don't like the rules then they are better of finding somewhere else to sell.
