Okay...at least you're back on track......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
I reckon I'll give it a couple of days, see how it goes with 2 or 3 programs going at once. Thanks for all your help in the meantime!0

Haven't had any freezes yet, and it seems considerably quicker. Tho I haven't used Wod, which was probably where I was getting most freezes.
So that's great, but unfortunately (maybe in one of the windows between installing one firewall and installing another?) some fraudster seem to have got in - two fraudulent PayPal transactions have supposedly left my account. I found no malware last night, but Spybot found one trojan. I've put a freeze on that account - don't know iof any of you guys know anything about this kind of thing, but I'm wondering if I should do anything about my other accounts (this one is the only one linked to PayPal)?0 -
Change all your email account passwords just in case. And any others that are for SHOPPING purposes. (eg ebay, amazon etc):idea:0

Thanks! Will do0

I've now also reinstalled Comodo Firewall, after the incident described. If I want to leave TeaTimer on, what feature of Comodo should I disable? I think it was Defence Mode, but I can't find a way to turn this off as such.0
-
Right click the symbol in the right hand bottom panel (A white shield)
goto DEFENSE and turn it off:idea:0 -
Thanks! So "defense & security" should be set to "disabled"?0
-
yes ~ only because you use 'tea timer' too though:idea:0

Must say the windows that keep coming up with Comodo are a bit annoying - basically I just say yes to everything, as I obviously don't know what these exe files are. So what is the point of this unless you're a computer expert (in which case you probably don't need it anyway)?0
