Hi all, and welcome to Sandeevie, thanks for sharing your story!
My swapbox was posted out today and I received mine today too! Thankyou already to whoever sent it.
FFM, I seem to remember that last time most people were opening their boxes at the crack of dawn :rotfl:
I have had a very bad day eating wise, a Freddo at 10am and nothing til 5pm, due to stress but am making a good dinner later.
Have a great evening all and good luck for WIs tomorrow x

Crack of dawn it is then :D

Hope your stress is not too 'bad', have a dodgy hug :grouphug:

Actually, we used to have a really great HR lady where I used to work - funnily enough she was the one who was made redundant

    FFM :)

I got so fed up with making other people redundant that I made myself redundant!

But so was the cocktail :p
  • Sorry to hear you've had a stress day bails. Glad a good dinner has probably by now been eaten. I've had a restful day, letting go of lots of things that needed doing.
I would like to report an excellent 'day one'. (thought the day is not over yet). Have a delicious multicoloured dinner: roast orange sweet potato & carrots, purple cabbage and green sprouts. Very filling and tasty and all free on sw green:j . Bought some delicious barbeque spices recently and they really transform chicken leftovers.
Lets' hope tomorrow's weigh in is at least a sts.

Yes, it would be lovely if petrichor was able to pop in. Ditto suggs if you're out there? Hope the op hasn't set you back.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Hi Victory. Isn't it silly, you want help in getting a job and the 'job' centre are as useful as a chocolate teapot!

Granny that smilie is really horrible! Well done!

My memorable incident with an HR manager was when I worked as a checkout girl! My friend was halled up into the office by the HR manager who screamed at her for wearing black tights instead of skintone ones (american tan type). Fair enough they were part of the uniform but my friend was black!

Were we supposed to identify ourselves on the swapboxes or are we going to reveal ourselves later (could get a bit chilly!)? Hello Ajax;)
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

    Hey all,

I've found out that my mothers council tax is lower than mine! Mum thinks i should appeal, so i will!

I have my swapbox!!!!!! so excited. I have found the best gift to send! I was too chicken to buy it though ha.

Cant remmeber if i said it was nice to see you again ajax, but it is. ha.

Oh and good luck with the house sale delly.

Bet beliguim was lovelly retiredlady! Did they have pumpkins outside the front door?

Victory: I have noticed alot of christmas temping jobs and if youre good enough they will probably keep you on. Its more the department stores where gaps are needed rather than smaller stores. Prepare to not have a christmas though!! You've also shown me that the job centre is no better than going it alone.

see you all on the 6th then for the grand opening!
