Studentmidwife - a STS between morning and evening weigh ins is the same as a loss, well done
How come you're weighing at different times of the day, is that a one off as you've changed your regular time?
Well done to everyone else who's lost or STS and/or stuck to plan! Fantastic loss for you KPC! Wow!!! Well done Raph on the new clothes size too!
Hi Missy - I was working a late shift on my usual WI day (Monday evening) last week so went to a different meeting on Weds morning. I always weigh more in the evening so I suppose it is the same as a loss.
Well done everyone else whose lost/STS :jOct GC: £144.07/£2000 -

Hi Mishka :hello:
I'm ex Rosemary Conley (currently maintaining). Are you still book selling or have you given up these days? I'm still selling, just not as 'into it' as I used to be due to work commitments. Nice to see you

My next weigh in on Monday is my ONE YEAR one for maintaining, so I'm excited about that (pathetic, I know!)
Not at all pathetic, I think it's a real milestone - I'm looking forward to my full year 'celebration' of maintaining. I hope I'm still posting here after 10 years

I've tried ordering the cheesecake again today (for delivery tomorrow). They had a smallish one on offer for £1.50
If it arrives this time, I think I'll do what you do FFM and cut it into smallish slices for freezing. Great tip!
Our food cupboards have been looking very bare - this is the problem with 50% extra calories - it's 50% extra shopping!!!0 -
seren i feel your pain. The congratulations i'm getting are nice but undeserved as i gained 2kg last week - so this week is really only a 0.2kg loss - the same 0.2kg that goes on and off week in, week out.0

beanie hope things pick up and get better soon.
dragon, hopefully the med gain will come off as easily as it went on.0 -
Missy, good luck with the cheesecake :rotfl: Guess what I had for dessert today at my 2nd Christmas lunch this week - a huge piece of toffee cheesecake - I've estimated the calories for this monster at 600 cals including the fudge/toffee sauce.
I've just looked at my calorie intake since April when I first hit the weight I currently am, over 33 weeks I have consumed 431,132 calories. That is an average of 13065 calories a week, 1865 calories per day.
My weight has fluctuated over this time by a maximum of +3.4lbs (holiday in August) and a minimum of -1.6lbs (needed to up the food a bit).
I'm quite happy with that, I think it does show that if I ate the 2000 calories recommended for the average woman that I would put on weight - but I guess my weight would then settle at something else - but probably not where I want to be
So, based on those numbers I still have 4000 calories for the last 2 days of the week, despite having 2 Christmas lunches (I was being quite conservative on Sat, Sun and Tues in preparation).
Hope I haven't bored too many of you with the numbers but it's how I work best.
Victory, we currently have a tin of Quality Street and a tin of Roses open in our house. Normally, I would be right in there munching away. The meals above have given me some focus - but I've found a new way of 'messing with my mind'. When I feel like eating one of the chocolates I imagine the smell, taste and texture as if I was actually eating it (I take the time to really enjoy the chocolate). Then I tell myself that I've had just as much 'enjoyment' but without actually eating it - 'cos the 'enjoyment' of really eating them is only fleeting anyway. Is that weirdSeems to be working at the moment.

Evening all, just in from a nice day with parents... so to business: I have hidden anyone on the chart who hasn't posted a weight this dec, as it is a monthly chart, but you are all there ready to slip back in when you are ready. Dragon & beanie - I have hidden you in the short term: I quite understand how you must have felt dragon as I hated having to post such a wretched swing. Beanie - hugs to you: as missy said, see it as a temp break.
So SOTW is... KPC:D
Ooops, forgot to post my own sts...I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
