morning:D how cold can it be when you get out of bed i nthe mornings?:rotfl:
OH tripped on the so called non slip bath mat yesterday fell out of the bath, grabbed the shower curtain for support which snapped off ending up falling head first outside the bath flat out so he is resting in bed, the kids were a great help though, they came downstairs and between them re-enacted their dad's bath fall:rotfl: :rotfl:

Isn't is weird, got so many money off vouchers for debenhams, waitrose, sainsburys and here and there but it only makes you wonder how you are going to find the money to spend £60 for £10 off rather than 'yeah let's spend' to me it has the opposite effect and I am sure it does to many others, marketing I know but we spent the weekend in away from the shops because we have not got it to spend....

The kids are happy now they have a few presents under the tree, real ones I might add:rotfl: :rotfl: all the little one wants is a castle with soldiers and he has that so he is going to be pleased:D

Good Morning everyone, I get weighed today and am so nervous I feel sick to my stomach:sad:! I wonder if there will ever come a time when I will be relaxed about stepping on the scales?

Todays eating plan is a little different since I am actually going out for a meal!! This is a very rare occurance for me:o and I feel a little worried about that too!:o My SW class is going for a Christmas dinner at a Toby Carvery so I should be quite safe.

    Today I will have:

Breakfast - fruit and yogurt (free)

Lunch - Toby Carvery - meat and veg (will pass on the spuds and yorkies) but will have a bit of gravy and will have an icecream for dessert so will count as (10 syns?)

Dinner - quorn and vegetable pasta bake with fresh berries for dessert.

Keep your fingers crossed for me at weigh in today cause I really need to have a loss for my mental well being today:rotfl:!!!

    Love
    Marion

    I have a 1.75lb gain :(

Calories 12142 for 1735 average/day (target was 1750). Exercise summary for last week:
    • Monday: Ice skating 90 mins
    • Tuesday: Running 94 mins
    • Thursday: Swimming 30 mins
    • Friday: Manual treadmill 30 mins
    • Saturday: Bike ride 44 mins
    • Sunday: Cross trainer 30 mins
Frustrating that a TOTM gain can take the shine off what I thought was a really good week, with my six different workout sessions! I'm hoping it's the same as my last one which disappeared (with interest!) the following week, without me doing anything different :)

Hang on in there missy. I know it's disappointing but remember the 'month's over view': don't be tempted to up the exercise, just monitor this over a month, like you plan too.

Vix - good luck with getting that darned dis out the way.
Victory - you can tell your OH that my dad's 80 and we still consider it our duty to take the mick at every opportunity:D .

Suddenly realised it's only 2 weeks and 3 days til xmas so I had better get started on the xmas pressies I was going to make:eek: .

Very good yetserday with following the plan. If I can just keep it up... refusing to step on the scales until wed now (don't want to see the results of the meal out on Fri until they've gone.)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
  • STS for me this week, not too disappointed as its TOTM and I've done very little exercise (had a rest week)
Off to body combat again tonight, really enjoying that :)

    Hi Vic

I know it's cruel but Dads tripping can be an absolute hoot! My dad once went to step on to the fountain in the middle of their pond and completely misjudged it! He missed by a couple of inches and fell in. We were rolling on the floor laughing! We checked he was ok of course but I still chuckle when I think of it. Strange thing though is I laugh when I fall too.

Hope your OH feels better soon (he seemed a really nice man when he came to the house).
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Thanks for the good wishes guys, I am pleased to announce that I have lost 1 lb today:beer::j. It ain't much but it will do for me right now!;)

Have just got back from a very nice lunch at our local Toby's. I had melon for starter, then roast beef, turkey & the pork:o, with peas, carrots, brussells, brocolli, caulifower cheese(whoops how did that get on my plate?). Since the consultant was sitting right next to me I passed on the roast potatoes, roast parsnips, stuffing balls and yorkshires! I did have icecream with chocolate sauce for afters though - it was very nice.
I had an interesting conversation with consultant today about my slow weight loss and after sorting out a few weeks diet sheets with her she thinks I am eating way too much fruit. I must admit I do eat a he*l of a lot of it - often 10 pieces a day so she said to to try and limit it for a week and see how I get on. I should be able to do that quite easily because I just tend to eat it as nibbles and snacks - not because I'm hungry!
Hope everyone has a good weigh in this week.:j

    Love
    Marion
