I'm not going to fill the page with loads of items, just a couple of what I consider the best value and taste.
Aldi;
Luxury Fruit Muesli - Harvest Morn, 750g, £1.49. Has 50% fruit (and no nuts)
Olives - they have at least 4 varieties as specials, like Spanish, Greek, Mixed, Garlic, Almond, Chilli, and all around 99p per jar.
PS Where have the mint imperials gone, haven't seen any locally for weeks now.
Lidl
Mango chutney, cheap and tasty.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!
Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
Shopandscan, £2,840
Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700

For a really special occasion the ALDI frozen Beef Wellingtons with port wine gravy are great. £8.99 for two but excellent, better than M&S.
Also love:
Aldi frozen Lamb Shanks
Shofferhoffer German Beer
Pesto Sauces in jars0 -
"Castello" brand shortbread at Lidl - it is the world-famous "Walkers" brand in disguise - I should know, my wife works in the factory :rotfl:

We used to use Morrisons own washing tabs. We've switched to Lidl's "Formil 2in1 tabs with Aloe vera"
Detergent and fabric conditioner in one. 36 tabs for £1.58. Says 2 tabs per wash but we usually only need 1.
Wash is great and smells lovely.0 -
Aldi
Vacuum packed filled pasta at 75p
dishwasher tablets
Plain pasta sauce (not the one with mushroom , its nasty)
mars/twix clones whoose names elude me
Olive Oil
Real Blocks of parmesan
All their frozen fish is good quality and value

Oh forgot to add that Aldi washing-up liquid came 2nd in a Which magazine test, only beaten by Fairy liquid, which I think is around 30p more.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

Aldi
Nappies - have just started using them and so far they are great (no leakages!) and a good bit cheaper than Tescos own brand. Friends swear by them.
Weatabix
Jam (conserve- the small square jars) - not cheap cheap (i think about 75p) but good quality and verging on as good as home made jam - the strawberry anyway!.
dishwasher tablets and general cleaning products/cloths
Frozen pizza
that's the main things I go in for that I can think of at the moment.0 -
Aldi:
Red grape juice in cartons (their white grape juice is not quite as good)
Orange juice with bits, in plastic bottles (in the fridge).
Benefit breakfast cereal (better than Tesco's own Special Flakes and even the mighty Special K).
Pesto - various types, but all very good.
Their beer & wine are normally excellent value, but cider is a bit tasteless.
Sliced meats.
Jams (normally 50% fruit)
Lidl:
Chocolate is fabulous, particularly their Bellarom milk chocolate Fruit and Nut (no almonds, only chestnuts).
Jams (normally 50% fruit)No reliance should be placed on the above.0
