    Is it not 0.5%?

The credit limit will be small, so take care. In all other respects they are fine IMO: Pleasently surprised by Aqua

And they send texts about the DD with the exact amount and the DD date.

Has the offer on the M&S credit card finished? When I click on the link, it just says bad url ... does not take me anywhere?

I have an amex card, but there are so many places that won't accept it that I'm looking for second card. Any one got any favourites? I don't want a supermarket card as those are the places that do take amex.

    Hi Guys, quick silly question...

I'm looking at the Amex Platinum Cashback everyday card so I can get the 0% on purchases which it states 0% pa for 21 months, but then below it says that maximum interest free on purchases for 56 days. Is the 56 days outside the offer? I'm planning a big purchase and don't want to be paying interest on it!

    Here's the summary sheet
    https://www.americanexpress.com/uk/content/text/ProspectJourney/Card%20Details/platinum-cashback-everyday-credit-card/files/PlatCB-SummaryBox.pdf

I suspect I'm just being paranoid about the wording!
    LBM Jan 14 - Debt £30,500.48
    January 2014 - 31st May 2016 DEBT FREE!!
    Target Savings £500,000.00 Retire Early!!
    Cash Savings £15,492.23
    S&S ISA £60,560.54

Word of warning re American Express Platinum and Platinum Everyday cards.

If you pay in full by direct debit, Amex takes the payment about ten days before the payment is due. This is "in case there are problems with your direct debit." But, of course, it also means you lose out on ten days of interest-free credit. Also, in my case, the debit occurs about one week before I get paid rather than a couple of days after!

I think (but not sure) that Amex applies the direct debit about three weeks before the due date if you're not paying the balance in full.

Picked up by EarthBoy here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5472055

For TSB Classic Plus current account holders. TSB platinum 1% cash back on up to £500 per month spend until Sep 17, 20 months 0% spend and up to 20 months 0% on BT in first 90 days with 2.95% fee. I applied for a relatively small limit because I already have lots elsewhere and got £4300, more than I asked for.

Just had a letter this morning to say that the £5 a month for spending £300 will stop from the end of September as it has become unsustainable.
Such a great feature. Looks like I am going to have to change my routine.

On Friday I received an email from asda .
it said that their customers could earn UPTO £100 in cashback on this card. all my documentation that came with the credit says that it is unlimited. Can anyone clarify the situation. thanks
