Hi
I have never made a curry from tinned tuna but did have a thought i'd share. What about making the tuna into small balls with potato, fry them and then combine with curry sauce. Sort like dumplings. You could flavour the tuna by gently pan frying some onions and adding some curry powers/herbs and them mix it all with potato. Hope this suggestion helps.0 -
I've never made curry using tinned tuna (haven't seen tuna curry on an Indian restaurant menu and I can't imagine it!). I did used to love tinned tuna with pasta at uni. I'd brown some onion, mix in a tin of chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, garlic, herbs and seasoning, bring to a simmer and throw in the tuna. Cheap, tasty and nutritious.0

Thank you to you all for your suggestions - OH is on a fast at the moment, but fish is allowed and I have a lot of canned tuna in my cupboard!
Unhappy shopper and Fairtrade, particular thanks to both for the fantastic links

Tinned curry tuna is my favourite. Lots of onions, mushrooms, some pataks curry paste and a tin of toms. Yum.0
