It seems people are being told conflicting stories as to when the cheque needs to be received. From this thread we have reports of either:
    1. 7 days
    2. 14 days
    3. Wed 15th Oct
However, when I rang them today I was told it was only five days from when the offer is withdrawn. She also claimed not to know when it would be withdrawn, even though of course we already know it is either midnight tonight or tomorrow 10am, which would make it due by either Mon 13th or Tue 14th Oct. So it might need to go Special Delivery if people do not get their application packs pretty soon.

She also confirmed the amount of the cheque does not have to match what you put down on the initial application.

I applied on Sat but have still not had anything in the post, although she said mine was sent out on Mon. I hope I do not miss out again.

I applied last Wednesday, received acknowledgement letter, with cheque forwarding instructions, on Friday.

Sent cheque on Saturday & was e-mailed internet access token on Tuesday - now just waiting for username.

I sent my cheque off on the 29th of September and have not yet heard anything back - no user name or a password. My link account is only a poxy 0.1% and it has 11 grand in it at the moment, so I wish they would get a move on and take it out. Its been 8 working days, 10 days since I sent the cheque off.

    Should I ring them?

My cheque is shown as being processed today, so I would certainly ring them.
