Nintendo Game Cubes £24.99 at Currys!!!!

Yesterday managed to pick up the last one in Huddersfield, no game tho.

Found an interesting way of finding out stock. Being in town I went into Dixons to see if they had any, and to save petrol as Currys is out-of-town. Stock check came up zero, but was told Currys had four, guy showed me the Eclipse screen. Seems that the stock check also looks at nearby branches incuding Currys and even PC world.
So usefull in future searches to save rushing around.

Later in day went to Currys so some of you had been there before as there was only one left, probably because it had a £54.95 sticker.

Also managed to get a PS2 Twisted Metal Black game with Network Adapter for £7.49, marked £24.99

I dont get it - is it only the north of England? Neither the large Currys or PC World or the small in town Dixons sell gamecubes (comment "we havent for quite a while), and Currys and PC world dont sell ANY console of any description, although they do have some games. Grrrr!

There's an idiot in the solihull store!

Went there, gave one guy the SKU code for Zelda, and it said 2 in stock. Then this guy came along (who already told me there were no Game Cube stuff in there, but I didn't believe him) and said no there's none there, and refused to check in the stock room!

O dear.. Anyone managed to find the Zelda game in any of there partner stores for 1p or whatever?

Bit of Googling!!

Currys, Dixons, The Link are all part of the same company and so use the same software.

Every item has a SKU code. Bit of 'advanced' googling can pull anything up. Although none of it is in stock on the Net, they may well have some in stores.

Those TV stands are interesting for 1p!!?

Shame i haven't managed to get a gamecube!

Was looking for a second one for uni (dont want beer, lemonade etc being spilt over my precious one ) I rang up the store to have been told they had sold out earlier that morning.
