Nintendo Game Cubes £24.99 at Currys!!!!

Picked up 4 today and everyone in store was in shockat the price! They were litterally whispering it to each other! It's an instore thing only and I think it might be a mistake (someone ran over asking if the cashier had put them through for me, then when she said yes said forget about!) so get in while you can guys.

I phoned up and reserved. I got mine from Selly Oak in brum, and I know there's some 2 at the highgate branch and some in Perry Barr.

Currys (not Dixons) has just said it is selling the Nintendo retro gamecube (product code 538340) for £24.99 while stocks last.

Dixons and Currys are also both selling PS1s with 2 controllers, memory card and Spyro the Dragon game (product code 928985) for £14.99 also while stocks last

Thanks for that. I am a Selly oak Local so its only down the road from me.

No idea but the lady on the phone told me loads. I think they're doing the same thing at Dixons too but I'm not sure. All I'd say is it's best to call and reserve and then get down ASAP as this could just be a pricing error.

Yea you can do that, especially as some of the people on the phone seem to have no idea what a gamecube is so they just ask to see if YOU think it sounds right!!!

Yup - saw this earlier today on rpoints.

Managed to reserve 4 (workm8 order) at lunch from Crown Point, Leeds. They had 2 left when I picked up, but that was 2pm this afternoon.

When I phoned up and confirmed they had stock, I asked for the price. Which the guy said £49.99. My reply was that I thought they'd been reduced to £24.99. He then double checked on the computer and was shocked to confirm that, yes they were now £24.99 :T

The shouldn't be able to sell stuff that you reserve ya know, i'd complain. Unless you're saying they only had 2 left after your 4.
