Egg is gone, i phoned up and settled the account this morning. That debt is now on 0% for 12 months on the BT credit card, i did have to pay loads extra to get rid of it, overpayment of £550 on payday.

The next target is my fixed loan, the current settlement figure is £9400 and i cant make over payments. I have opened a savings account to pay off this loan and my OH paid £350 into it yesterday. We will keep adding money every month whenever we can and pay off the loan as soon as there is enough money. I will keep reducing the total in my sig according to what is in the account as i want to see the total going down.

So only one account left that i am paying interest on. Ill just keep my fingers crossed that i might get the virgin card in the new year. If i do then oh said he will make up the difference and we can pay off the loan and be completly interest free.

NSD for me yesterday and today, if i manage tomorrow it will make 20 for november. not bad going as my aim was for 10.

ds had a good night and slept from 0100-0800! best nights sleep ive had since i was about 7 months pregnant. Ive finished wrapping all the pressies today and they are in 8 piles on the bed in our spare room. I have also sent my OH to the post office with all the ones we have to mail, this way he has to pay the postage!

Really got to get on with some ironing now, just waiting for him to have a nap first. then a quick clean round so i can think about getting the christmas deccies up tomorrow or monday.

Just got my wage slip through, its taken the first drop for mat pay, so 3 more months on 90% pay then it will drop to SMP. So i prob wont be paying much into the savings account for the loan for long. oh well, even with just the min payments everything will be gone sept 2011, with snowballing the min payments it would be april 2011. ill just see anything extra as a bonus.

How stupid are egg? after spending 30 mins on the phone to them on friday and setteling my loan with them, they have messed things again. The balance is showing online as £0.00, because my direct debit was cancelled after i paid off the loan they are showing that i am inarrears. How can they think im behind in payments when the balance is zero.

I know its their stupid computer system but its just so frustrating. off to phone them again i guess.

Hope you get it sorted. Don't think you're the only one with problems with Egg on here they seem to be pretty poop all round.

Well I had to get out today to get to the post office for ebay and to send me royal mail survey but we are snowed in. My OH had to walk into work this morning as we live at the bottom of a huge hill. I really hope I still get to do postal surveys if this one is late, i like the free stamps.

emptied my purse into sealed pot for the start of the challenge today, Im hoping to save £365 through the year so i have some money for christmas next year as well as paying off my debts.
