you know we were house checked for the dalmatian charity. We were told it could take ages and puppies very rarely come up. Well, later the same day we were checked we had a phone call offering us a 4 month old female puppy. She's been in a house for four months, not fed properly and never gone out so she's very shy but apparently she's doing really well even though she's only been out for a week. We go and see her on Sunday and if we get on we're allowed to have her. I'm so happy! They think us having another dog will help her as she can learn from our old lady!!!! I'll tell you more on Sunday. At the moment we're going to call her Tilly but that's changed a million times since Wednesday.

Oh Mudbath that is wondeful news - it was meant to be - I hope (and I am sure you will) get on well when you meet her on Sunday - she has had a poor sad start to life but all that can now change thanks to you and yours - how lovely - I am sooooooooooo pleased for you and Tilly - please post a photo when you can - we would love to meet her!!!

Just finished tea. Been to work for 5 hrs today- I finished a job today, my customer this morning, and she gave me a lovely Thank You card and it had £20 inside it Bless her, I'll miss her and her twin babies. Done my weight training, teenie did the kitchen, so am about done for the night, hope there's something good on the box.

The desk I was after is now at a silly £170 :rotfl: I'm outbid by £169.01 lmao it just wasn't meant for me and I'm cool with that :cool:

yep! Ironed -all done!
and have had a new watch off my friend (went out with last week) no doubt she is fed up of me asking what the time is because the little faced silver watch I have and wear out - (matches other jewellery) has a flat battery but I haven't ever bought a new one because I can't read the time on it anyway - too tiny!
Now I have a nice shiny and readable Next one!
Woo hoo - she was dead chuffed with my reaction! I am thrilled to bits - just what I wanted!

Hello ladies

Been quite a week and I MISSED YOU ALL...is Toots back? Did Muddy get a lovely new doggie?
Oh goodness! I missed Valli's birthday, didn't I?:o I'm sorry hun...to make up for it... my cake was won by a nice old man who intended to pass it on to his grand daughter and the total taken at the coffee for cancer function (the last total I heard before leaving) was £680.00:j And I bought a book called "container gardening" for 20p:)
Needless to say after all those festivities, the house needs a Flylady party anyone coming round? But it doesn't look like it'll take much. So now I shall go and find some lists and then catch up on the thread (in that order, lest I get sidetracked-but no work tonight for me)
