Triker

Yey well even OH joined in and we've done this......

1. clean the hob..
2. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
3. 29 fling boogie..
4. GO! buy yourself some flowers from the shop.. your reward for making the kitchen shine!
5. [STRIKE]Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET[/STRIKE]

Tuesday Tidiness- Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Level 1
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors and sofas [/STRIKE]
Level 2
[STRIKE]Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
HHI[/STRIKE]
Level 3
Wipe and water plants
[STRIKE]Clear the top of a cupboard or the mantle and give it a thorough clean and put back only what is supposed to be there. [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself[/STRIKE]
Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –

1. Clean windows & any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
2. Wipe down any paintwork that needs it.
3. Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!! Get rid of those hideous things!!
4. Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it.. Do you need your thick winter curtains up yet?

Wednesday Wishes- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
Level One
[STRIKE]Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc[/STRIKE]
Make an appointment for some ME-time.. hairdressers? manicure? night out with friends? .. whatever just do it!
Level Two
Vacuum the floor
[STRIKE]Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!![/STRIKE]
Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
Level Three
Clean 2 windows
Sort through a cupboard/chest of drawers and get the clothes out which are no longer wearable, too small or out of season!
Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors
Extra Task List

1. Find 5 things to ebay/freecycle
2. Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames!
3. HHI
4. Mid week fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend!

Thursday Thrills- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
Level One
[STRIKE]Clean floors in these rooms[/STRIKE]
Level Two
[STRIKE]Clean baths, toilets, don't forget the outside! and sinks.. shine the taps with a toothbrush
Clear any clutter from desk .. put it in a box and sort through it all.[/STRIKE]
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Level Three
[STRIKE]Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins!
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Collect all the dirty laundry [/STRIKE]
Extra mission: Take your pick!

1. Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
2. [STRIKE]Fling all those empty bottles and tubes[/STRIKE]
3. [STRIKE]replace any sponges, flannels, toiletries that need it[/STRIKE]
4. [STRIKE]Scrub the grottiest corner.. the one behind and under the loo.[/STRIKE]

Flyday fllliiing!- Master Bedroom & Landing
Level 1
Check fire alarms are working
Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.
Fling open the window and let in the rain sunnyness
Level 2
[STRIKE]Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..[/STRIKE]
Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..
Air the duvet
15 minutes floordrobe clearance
Level 3
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing[/STRIKE]
Sort through a cupboard and fling everything that is dead
[STRIKE]Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one.[/STRIKE]
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more

1. 31 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
2. Clean all paintwork on the landing
3. Clean windows in these rooms
4. Clear out your shoes.. are there any summery ones fit for recycling? and winter ones need reheeling? any that can just go?!

just thought I would pop in after my stint in the garden,,I an shattered,,, I have cut all sorts down,,I can see for [strike]miles [/strike] yards now

Diva ,, george was such a quiet cat ,,, but now :eek::eek: he is a bit of an animal :rotfl::rotfl:
Katt and Valli - Treacle yowls like a thing possessed when she is annoyed. Or hungry. Or wanting some attention. Or wanting to go outside, or if you pick her up. In fact, unless she is sleeping or eating or purring, she pretty much 'yells' at us all day, and she always sounds like she is in great pain when she does it!

Diva ,,, I did think I was the only person that did this ,,, I am glad I am not ,, its just me and you r mother,, and you sometimes
Kaat - my mother always cleaned the shower and sink etc while still naked after a shower and I have to admit I do the same sometimes..! I just try and avoid bleach, just in case of splashbacks (ouchies... )

Evening ladies

I'm shatttered drinking tea and chatting is so tiring.

All other children gone home now and I just have the Judo run left to do.

Must remember to put fresh linnen on my bed whilst DS3 is in the bath or I'll be cross with myself when I go up to bed and have to make it then!

Thanks for all the Anniversary messages. Not sure when OH will be home but his flight is not due to land until 10ish.

What a time to lose internet connection! I am so excited and apologise for not reading the thread first so hugs for everyone and i'll catch up in a minute but.......

you know we were house checked for the dalmatian charity. We were told it could take ages and puppies very rarely come up. Well, later the same day we were checked we had a phone call offering us a 4 month old female puppy. She's been in a house for four months, not fed properly and never gone out so she's very shy but apparently she's doing really well even though she's only been out for a week. We go and see her on Sunday and if we get on we're allowed to have her. I'm so happy! They think us having another dog will help her as she can learn from our old lady!!!! I'll tell you more on Sunday. At the moment we're going to call her Tilly but that's changed a million times since Wednesday.

Although I did not do all of each Flylady list every day I did do all I had selected to do (level 1 and 2 at least) and am pleased with that, seeing as back is dodgy and energy levels not great !
Own list (Friday)

[strike]Put nappies away[/strike]
[strike]Sort out finances (new month start) and transfer money[/strike]
[strike]Nip to Lidl’s with DS and maybe take him for lunch[/strike]

Prepare stuff for craft session with friends- started J
Make more Christmas cards

MACAW- failed miserably- did 1/5 days!
I am not going to do much chorewise, other than housekeeping, over the weekend (same as usual really) but a few things to do:
Own list (weekend)
Prepare stuff for craft session with friends- started J
Make more Christmas cards
Sort through any more dry washing
Do any more washings as required and hang them up.
General housekeeping chores- incl MUST change our bed (wash sheets, hang up, air bed, and put new sheets on later) and air room
I will catch up with you all again on Monday- happy flying and hugs to all who need them. Next weeks MACAW will be the same as this weeks, BUT DO IT THIS TIME!

Pigpen - yes we will! How exciting is that? I've just been out with my doggy savings (i've wanted a second dog for about a year) and bought all her bits and pieces because we'll need them anyway. We'll take it slowly with our dog but she's very friendly so if we're careful it should go well. I feel sick i'm so excited...the children are excited too but i'm in shock!:rotfl: xx

[strike]Sort & clean fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there![/strike]
[strike]Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)[/strike]
Level Three
[strike]Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc [/strike]
Wipe all the windows in these areas!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
[strike]Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters need to be done too!![/strike]
