    Hello ladies

    ..is Toots back?
my cake was won by a nice old man who intended to pass it on to his grand daughter and the total taken at the coffee for cancer function (the last total I heard before leaving) was £680.00:j And I bought a book called "container gardening" for 20p:)

Yes I am back Polkadot and feeling pretty good - I was wondering where you had got to??
Great news about the cake- and the coffee morning - fantastic amount of money that was raised. I thought someone else was going to do the cake or didnt want you to do it? Or I am mixing it up with the playgroup - as you can see the brain is no better - still addled!!!!

    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

Argh stupid modems gone off 4 times when I have tried to post, no I didn't copy/paste, I forgot, doh! Anyway, we're here, I'm wrapped up in the caravan in my sleeping bag because it's a bit chilly and I put the wrong switch on for the heating so now waiting for it to heat up. Need to pop outside in a mo, I'll end up with coat hangers for nipples because my coats in the car.

Right, kids watching X2 so think I best get sorted now, hoping for a not too early start in the morning! (ok maybe miracles are off the list today) Will be going home about lunch time on Sunday need to do some stuf at home inc garden aswell.

Mudbath just noticed your posts, my friend has dalmations and has given up any proper training until they're 6 months because they took no notice before that, so might be a perfect age :) poor little bumpkin not being fed etc tho :( I'm really unsure about getting more dogs as with other things I do the lions share of the work inc cleaning up the garden, walking, feeding which reduces the enjoyment for me as noone else helps usually.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • AAAAAAAAaagggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I have tried so many times to keep up with the flying and this thread, but everything has gone topsy turvy!!

I'm gonna try again from next week. I'm going to spend the weekend decluttering and tidying the spare room. Why is it that when you have a spare room, it just becomes a dumping ground. Never mind about clearing a hotspot, the whole room is a hotspot!

I keep getting sidetracked! I'll try and do a bit of catching up and see how I get on.

Hope everyone is doing OK, off to post my list for the weekend.
Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:

Kindlesgirl how did you do this morning? Were we at the same one:)
Don't know polkadot, but I'm in sunny Norfolk - don't think you're in this part of the world! But we did well, sold about £80 of tickets in 2 hours - the event was all day - linked to my hairdresser so open until she finished for the day. Loads of donations too so should be a good total for a fantastic cause - needed Macmillan when MIL was in last stages and couldn't imagine anyone more caring for us all not just her.
    Sealed Pot 617 - target £150 only managed £27 in 2009!
