Hope everyone is feeling better, think there are some nasty bugs going round just now. Just finished brunch, bagel and scrambled egg, yummy.

    Happy Birthday Valli
    Happy Anniversary Dusty

Unexpectedly off today with ill small boy which means I will have to work Monday. I fell like I am chasing my tail. Todays mission is to sort the kitchen and the pantry shelves. If you have seen the photo on facebook you will know why! I also have two assignments to do for my interior design course which is far harder then I expected.

And I would very much love a magimix or a kenwood. One day when I have a real kitchen I will have one. (Hex toddles off into fantasy land..........)

Why has his @r$eface just screamed at me because he didn't take the letter to the GP I asked him to drop in on the way to work??.. seeing as he walks past I didn't think it would be so hard.. Why is it my fault he can't do anything??? Apparently it is MY fault.. quite how we work that out is beytond me.. I aksed him if he had remembered to take it before he popped to shop and he said he had which I assumed meant it was in his bag seeing as he was ready to go.. and there it is on the mantel.. Then he wonders why my eczema has switched itself back on again!!

I wish as I was as infallible as him!!

Hello Weeze210! Congrats on the wedding.

First post covers most of the key abbreviations, but most importantly now for you is HHC. This is a half hour challenge - you need to put some fast music on (Benny Hill is NOT compulsory) and get as much as you can done, then come back on here in half an hour and post a list of what you have got done. I will join you, and I think Nicki is just starting as well.

Emergency clean of whole house I do 15 minutes on each room, using the timer on my phone. Makes a huge difference but doesn't feel like too much.

    HTH (Hope this helps)

Pigpen - hugs for you. Mine is being especially 'helpful' at the moment too.

  • weeze210 welcome to flylady and i think we all have that problem from time to time! Congratulations on the wedding. If you look at pigpens first post on this thread most of the abbreviation are there.

Have hoovered the kitchen, living room, hall and bedroom. Just going to go do some ironing.

Okay, reporting back - in my HHC, I have:

    Washed up
Relocated items in the kitchen (the ones that shouldn't be there...)
Loaded the washing machine with towels
    Cleaned the cloakroom

Now I'm straight off on another HHC to get the bathroom done....whizzz......
