Happy Anniversary Dusty, it's 8 months today since my wedding :)

Thanks for the tips re magimix, I think I'm a bit short of space for a Kenwood chef really, though i'd love one. DH says I can just buy a Magimix, maybe next month! I think amazon do a good deal on them, will keep my eyes open. Still got about £60 on a debenhams gift card from the wedding, keep buying bits and bobs as and when we need them!

Wanted a lie in after DH went but it didn't really happen so I got up after finishing my book in bed with a cuppa. I've also started a bit of flying, off list but so far I've:

emptied airer of dry towels & cloths (I always think of Julie when I do this as I bought it with her wedding gift voucher :)
    load washing in
put away last night's washing up
    swept kitchen floor.

I will post a proper list in a bit, but first I need to start some work work, just gonna catch up on emails for half a day so I don't have to count more than 2 days sick and also so I'm not overwhelmed on monday.

    Morning everybody :)

Well, didn't manage to get an awful lot done last night for one reason and another. Cleaned the toilets and mirrors, but then got distracted and wandered off. By the time I remembered what I was supposed to be doing, it was near enough bedtime........

Anyway - on to today. Oooh, I never knew that master bedroom and landing had a day all of their own! I assumed they'd be lumped in with the bedroom/hall tasks. So you'd think I'd have a day off today!

But of course, I've not managed to get half of the tasks done I wanted to do for each day - so I might well be doing those instead :(

    Friday's enjoyments include:

    Check fire alarms are working

15 minutes floordrobe clearance. Or as much as it takes.....

Sort through the wardrobes, and fling everything that is dead
Sort through shoes - deal with as necessary. Especially the minging-but-comfy old trainers.
....and get stuck into any/all of the tasks I'd diligently planned to do but never quite got round to in the week. Seriously.

Not entirely sure if it'll 100% work, like - it's payday today, so it may well be that wifey and I will be off to the supermarket this evening. We'll see....

(Though if we do go shopping, I'll be picking up a couple of homebrew kits and the gear to knock up a batch of homemade hard cider. Ace. :D)
Oh come on, don't be silly.

    It's the internet
    - it's not real!

Thank you all for your good wishes and fab smileys - yes we have a bit of a birthday session in Valliland...DS 25th Sept , me 26th Sept, DD grumpy cos she feels left out...she's getting better now she's older and like I tell her - she has a birthday all to herself, in January. Could be worse - DS's friend's mum is xmas day...
And like I tell DD she gets really fab pressies cos I spend the same money but she often gets sale bargains...the lego farm from ELC would never have made it over the Valli threshold at full price but was an ace half price bargain now saved for grandkids!
(And his dad never even phoned him!) No wonder I gave him the big E
Think I'll do the pasta with brocolli and blue cheese ....

Shame Greenbee didn't post pannacotta recipe! I love that, too! typical sweet toothed Libran, me!

    totally off topic but:

Does anyone else think Heinz tomato ketchup tastes better if it comes in a glass bottle rather than the plastic squeezy things?

Like the way coke/irn bru ets taste so much better out a glass bottle:D
