Thanks guys. Such a shame though. Like others, I also learnt of this through the weekly email. Was very aware that chances were slim, but was willing to give up my time for the opportunity to stay at one of these fabulous properties. Didn't realise it was going to take up so much of my day though :rotfl:

If they have cancelled this this is getting beyond a joke you would have thought they would have planned this a bit better as they already have 1,000's of disgruntled prospective customers.

This whole promotion is making them look like amateurs

So basically at 12GMT tomorrow thousands of people are going to compose these forms and email them off to LHW, and they won't actually know that the promotion has been cancelled - that's a shame because it's a dreadful waste of time for a lot of people.

You would think that they would have come to this decision before they decided to send out god knows how many thousands of emails this afternoon.

I've just decided not to bother with anything this company touches, if this is the level of their competency, imagine what a stay at one of their hotels could be like!

But good luck to everyone else - I hope you all get what you ask for, and don't get messed about too much with it.

I totally agree but yet again they did not think of the consequences and many people who have received the email will enter the promotion and they still will be bombarded with complaints.

The whole ethos of this company reeks of amateur dramatics without much thought..... i mean a monkey could organise this better no disrespect to monkeys intended

I mean what kind of knee jerk reaction was the email promotion anyway :mad: Our prospective customer are Pi**ed already lets Pi** them off some more well done LHW

I don't know what's going on or who to believe now, because just this second I have received an email from LHW with the 12GMT promotion for 2nd October, which was sent from them just three minutes ago, so either they are still having this email promo tomorrow, or they're still sending out emails, knowing fully well that the promo has been cancelled!!!

Either way it's a total shambles - nobody is going to know what to believe!!

That's what i said people are still receiving emails so I have got this far I am going to send off tomorrow my email and if there's a promotion there's a promotion because like earlier people were posting they booked a room and that was a lie it was the same person usinf different names so i wouldn't put it passed someone to try and discourage people from entering... It's only an email so when it's gone it's gone unless they send me an email or post on there website that it's cancelled i'm still going to enter
