Just how quickly do you expect these people to write individual replies to 150,000 disgruntled cheapskates?

All this talk about PR is nonsense. How many of those 150,000 individuals would normally pay full price for one of these hotel rooms?

This isn't money saving. It's people trying to get something just because it's going cheap. I get the temptation, but I'm not going to waste a day on it. If you want to, that's fine. But the bitterness in this thread is disgusting.

And, for the record, I saw David Tennant play Hamlet at the RSC last month and would happily pay full price to see it again. Some things are worth paying full price for. If you don't understand that, your life must be incredibly sad.

Actually, it is money saving. If any of those 150,000 "cheapskates" were planning on a break during the time of the promotion (like myself - it's anniversary time and I was looking at hotel rooms and city breaks), I would SAVE substantial MONEY (I've capitalised the important bits there) by taking part in it.

The talk of PR is not nonsense. It is essentially the same as a major grocery store advertised BOGOF for one of it's most popular products with no intention of selling it as BOGOF. I assume through your use of the forum here that you are familiar with threads where people detail offers and others give thanks for such advice. Is it not the same principle?

My reply to you was the reasoning of why we are looking for some answers regarding the whole thing. If you cannot reply without resorting to namecalling, and accusations which are truly unfounded, I'd appreciate if you didn't reply to me.

    Thank you.

There is a world of difference between applying for a promotion in hope of getting a fantastic bargain and sending multiple complaining e-mails to the organisers because you didn't get it.
bbeen so many great deals ruined by thousands of people abusing them.

Again, you seem to fail to appreciate the fact that the emails were not because we did not personally get the rooms, but because no one got the rooms and the degree of miscommunication from LHW was appalling.

Maybe they didn't do a very good job of planning this promotion. I'm sure they'll hear about it from their superiors, who pay them money and, thus, have a right to complain.

I've been on this site for years. There have been so many great deals ruined by thousands of people abusing them.

What do you think are the chances of this company doing another promotion in the future? It's bad enough that their servers crashed. Now they have to deal with a ton of complaints.

Who is abusing the deal the point being rainbow carnage we didn't even get a fair go. And we as a consumer have a right to complain as although the deal was cheap it was not free we were willing to pay our money for the room so yes I believe we have the right to complain if we choose.

Yet again maybe if LHW just posted the link for the form on the same webpage stating try again tomorrow people wouldn't be calling them emailing them wanting to know where there email is.

Yet again bad management I mean why email 150,000 people when you already have there email address and could simply say that this is form to use and that if you are lucky to get through you will only be given the room if were pre-registered already it would save the poor person having to send these emails a lot of time not to mention the company money spent on administration.

Can anyone please let me know what dates were available in the UK - they are not showing now. Also could you just apply for one night or more - none of the details are on the website now. Thank you.
