This isn't money saving. It's people trying to get something just because it's going cheap. I get the temptation, but I'm not going to waste a day on it. If you want to, that's fine. But the bitterness in this thread is disgusting.

And, for the record, I saw David Tennant play Hamlet at the RSC last month and would happily pay full price to see it again. Some things are worth paying full price for. If you don't understand that, your life must be incredibly sad.

Without a hint of bitterness,getting something because its going cheap is very moneysaving you know,its not anything to be ashamed of..

Just got 2 1p flights to Florence,I am not a cheapskate by my reckoning,I am proud to be canny with my money.

Why do people have to post such negative comments....... if people want to apply for a promotion isn't it their right to do so so why comment and call them cheapskates that's a bit unfair............. if you didn't apply for the promotion then that's all well and good but don't badmouth the people who did. For those of us who tried we are more upset about the way it was organised than not getting a room. LHW should have known from the amount of people who had pre registered that they would not have been handle the volume today. I guess they won't be doing this kinda of promotion in a hurry again

Call me a cheapskate if you like, I am just trying to get a nice weekend away with my husband (with no kids) that I wouldn't normally be able to afford (having just gone back to work after maternity). I have stayed at LHW around the world in the past (before kids) and think this is a fantastic offer, so why not. If I don't get it I don't get it, but like everyone else that has registered I would like a fair crack.:p

As for the bitterness being disgusting, I find your negative comments disgusting and maybe you are not understanding the concept of a moneysaver.:mad:

There is a world of difference between applying for a promotion in hope of getting a fantastic bargain and sending multiple complaining e-mails to the organisers because you didn't get it.

Maybe they didn't do a very good job of planning this promotion. I'm sure they'll hear about it from their superiors, who pay them money and, thus, have a right to complain.

I've been on this site for years. There have been so many great deals ruined by thousands of people abusing them.

What do you think are the chances of this company doing another promotion in the future? It's bad enough that their servers crashed. Now they have to deal with a ton of complaints.

:j Just got my email too was getting a bit worried my surname begins with J..........

Anyway does anybody know if all the dates through 1/11 - 15/12 will be available to book....... I thought I read that there will be different dates at different hotles so how do you know when you fill in the form that the date you pick at the hotel you pick is a day in the promotion if you get my drift...... This is getting rather confusing

Anyway good luck to everyone it's been a long exhausting day but it's been fun reading the positive posts on here :T
