    Hi folks,

Well another year is upon us so I better get my bum into gear.

My general challenges for this year are :-

    1) To lose approximately 1 stone in weight.
    2) Cycle the coast to coast in June for Cancer Research (training for this will help number 1)
    3) I am going to try and pay off £5,000 of debts this year (min)
    4) Finally complete the decorating in my house, even if it kills me.
    5) Try and put some money aside each month for an emergency fund, so if things go 'pear shaped' I don't have to use Credit cards to get out of trouble.

As for the month of January I have set the following targets :-

    1) 12 NSD
    2) Make £5 per day (£155)
    3) Try and make at least a Payment a Day off Credit cards of £15

If I come up with any other challenges I will add them

    Happy New Year MF!

Loving the challenges you've set yourself and knowing you, you will achieve these and more in no time.

How far is the Coast to Coast event and where does it go? Does it involve crossing the Pennines?

    Good luck with it all!

  • Hi PoorButRich,

Happy New Year to you too. Hope you had a great Christmas.

The coast to coast does indeed involving crossing the Pennines and I am hoping to complete it in June.

More than likely east to west, although it could be north to south!

    Good luck mf x

Beat me to it, again mf.

I was working in Whitehaven last year. I know a good b and b, if you need one mf. She takes cycles and has storage for them.
