MF - I did the C2C in 1998, it is great fun. We did it over 3.5 days. I have the accommodation guide somewhere if you need one (PM me). We used a firm who provided safe parking for the cars and then transported us back from Sunderland to Whitehaven (may have been Workington).

Our overnighters were Workington/Whitehaven, Keswick, Alston, Consett and then downhill to Sunderland (where we stood smiling for about 30mins before the man in a van arrived). the most exciting part was the man in a van drive back over the A66 (better than the Big One at the Pleasure Beach ;) )

  • Hi folks,

Well I had a good weekend. I went to see Big Country in concert on Saturday night down in Liverpool, it was a good trip down memory lane.

Then yesterday I got back to the north east and cooked a lovely sunday dinner for me and my gf.

Also yesterday I managed a NSD, so that is 3/12 for Jan
