The 4k challenge next year sounds fun, except I think I can't make enough online without selling things and would eventually run out of things to sell!?!

Hmm, will have to consider other ways of bringing it in...

Haven't got much coming in at the moment as haven't had time to list anything...:o

Anyway, I think the how are we going so far totals thing is a good idea, we could do at 20 day intervals...that is soon :p and we should all have about 200 give or take?

    Good morning! :)

I don't mind adding in the 'scores' to date on day 20, which will be this Sunday. However, it takes me some time to keep up with all my challenges and various threads in between work etc, so it would help if you could each PM me with the amounts for day 20. I'll need to get my skates on to make it to the £200 mark by this weekend but am hoping to get the payment in for my mixed box that I listed. Might try a couple of 'Buy-it-now' ads on eBid, just to try squeezing a little extra, though. :D

  • Good idea, it'll be interesting to see how much we've accumulated so far, and it'll be a good morale booster :D

No additions to my total today but I signed to e*trabet through TCB yesterday - had to deposit £10 but I get £25 cashback from TCB so thats £15 profit. I placed four £1 bets and won back a total of £8.84 so have withdawn the profit of £4.84 which I'll add to my total once its banked. Will continue to play through my £10 to guarantee my cashback. Also withdrew money from mecca which has £8.81 winnings so will also add that once its backed.

Have over 5000 points in dooyoo so far, hoping to make the 50,000 by the end of the challenge so that'll be an extra £50!!

    Hey lonestarsky,

Would you mind explaining a bit more about DooYoo? It sounds great but I have no idea how to get involved!

Thanks Nyk, I'll PM you my total on Day 20 - which I make to be this Sat 11th Oct? I should be doing my budget then anyway so it will tie in nicely!

Hope everyone is having a good day xx

Jenjade, I read that you'd sold your sister on Amazon :rotfl:
The Quidco money for Littlewoods tracked within a day if that helps.

Still no tracking for A&L here, getting a little anxious but can't put in a query yet as it can take up to 26 days apparently.
No more money here yet, need to try and do some more Ebaying.

I like the idea of a Day 20 total, and of doing this next year!

    Hi,
Tesco man has just been and I've come in under budget again, so I've put the 'left over' money in my total...
DD2 is busy trying to stuff all the shopping in the cupboards and freezer as we speak!

I've not generated any extra cash today but I am half way through the huge box of stuff that had to be sorted out and I've already got £50 worth of it boxed and advertised on G*mtree - all 7 previous ads have tracked successfully, so here's hoping I can keep this up. Freecycle woman never arrived for the vacuum! Guess I'll need to readvertise that and see if I can find any takers. (It's too good to bin but not good enough to sell and I hate Dysons so have no intentions of keeping it.) Need to make a start on all the books I have to get rid of now - dozens and dozens of them - if only there was something we could do with old books.

Doh, I've made a schoolboy error and lost £10.25 I'd won in Mecca  Oh well, the cashback has tracked so would've been a bonus anyway.
Planning to list some more things on Ebay tomorrow...

    Hey Jenna

No problem, all you need to do is open an account and write reviews for products. There are loads of things you can review; books, websites, food, electrical things etc. Provided your review is over 150 words you get 500 points (50p) per review and every time someone reads your review you get an extra 15 points (1.5p). I've only been a member for 3 days, I've written 9 reviews and I have 6015 points so far. Once you get over 10,000 points you can get amazon vouchers or you can hold out to 50,000 points and get £50 cash!! I don't think it will be difficult to get to this level so I'm hoping to aim for the cash! Its really easy to sign up and the other users are very helpful and friendly, I highly recommend it.

Hope this helps! If you want any more info feel free to PM me :)
