ok, I'm looking for a bit of advice...
I've juggled my budget around and 'found' some money...(don't ask!)
Anyway, it takes me over my £1000. I was thinking I would start again and change the totals in my signature accordingly...what do you think?

i'm getting myself all in a mess just trying to keep track of my money this morning! i think i've forgotten to move some money that i've added to this challenge total into my savings account... so now i've got to through throuble the entire 28 page thread to account for every penny in my signature and then make sure it's all been moved into my savings account!

*phew* finally got it all figured out! lol. i'm not doing too badly... the matched betting will be easier when i can afford to put a lump sum in betfair rather than moving money in and out all the time - my bank account is looking a right mess at the moment with money flying around all over the place!

i've added a bit more from batched betting to my total today :)

Here's how I keep track of things: I email myself a copy of my challenge then quote, update and reply to myself each time there's a change. Today's looks like this -

    £1000 in 100 days

    £5.74 Topcashback
    £70.36 savings from electricity bill
    £1.30 eBid sale
    £2.00 eBid sale
    £50.00 premium bonds win
£48.18 proceeds from sale of laptop (Gumtree)
    £7.84 Topcashback
    £5.00 Free M&S voucher

    Total - £190.42/£1000

    Hope this helps :)

    Afternoon everyone :),

I'm just popping in to udate my total, I've ordered a £10 boots voucher from IPSOS a bit ago so I'll add that to my sig in a second. I did the free £5 M&S voucher thing too so hopefully mine will arrive soon.

I just keep a spreadshheet for the challenge and every time I earn something I just add it on there, and then update my sig from time to time. Then if the sig gets lost for any reason I still have a record of it all.
Frankie, well done on 'finding' so much money :rotfl:If it was me, I was alter my goal to 2 grand and see how far I got!

Yep I have a spreadsheet too!! I have 2 columns - 1 for stuff that I have money in my savings account for and a column for stuff pending... ie things that should pay out before the end of the challenge but haven't quite yet (eg vouchers ordered but awaiting, vouchers i will get once my survey points hit my account etc). I'm only counting the 1st in my tally but have column 2 to know how much I still need to raise to fill the gap if these pay out ok!!
