Sorry, I meant for next years challenge amount....
Then you've got your amount to live on plus interest you would have made if you were able to save the money instead of having to spend it...Does that make better sense?
Oh, I see what you mean now!Sorry. Yes, I will be lumping everything together at the end of the year and dumping it all into the best interest-paying, instant access account I can find and that will be the only money I'll be using (if everything goes to plan). Nicer still, I would like to neutralise all the spending so that after living for a year, I STILL have 4k in that same account without having had to use my pittance of a salary, IYSWIM - financially self-sufficientish enough that I could still live even if my main source of income was lost.
Becca - re the bingo thing, the cashback we are talking about is not referring to bonus cash from the bingo sites, it's money that we get paid for signing up in the first place by way of their advertising incentives. A good example is the Mecca offer - I took up the offer on topcashback. I registered, paid in £10 to activate the account and then played it through to activate the cashback. That's it. You consider the £10 as spent and await the cashback incentive, which was £30 in that instance (£20 profit just for registering). Anything you happen to win or received by way of a bonus from the actual bingo site is extraI've just joined Butlins via greasypalm at the weekend and HOPE that it has tracked as it cost me £10 to join but the cashback is £12.50, so I will be £2.50 in credit PLUS they offer free scratchcards everyday with a guaranteed minimum 10p win. Hope this helps explain cashback and good luck if you decide to try it out on other stuff, like matched betting, cashback on shopping or those free clicks
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

I have just signed up to littlewoods bingo for the daily scratchcard. Are there any other sites that do them?
I've also changed my gas/electricty suppliers. I'll get cashback for that, but not for 3 or 4 months. I guess I'll have to add that amount to next years challenge!!
I managed to get my invoice sent off yesterday and apparently there is some more work coming my way...but nothing more to add to my totals so far.0 -
Hi FrankieM, I haven't joined Littlewoods yet, am still looking for the best cashback deal - what route did you take, if you don't mind my asking?I reserve the right not to spend.

nyk, don't worry - i know all about cashback for bingo (and free clicks and what not). i've exhausted the bingo sites that i can get cashback on (all tracked, waiting for it to pay out) and most of my total so far has come from bingo wins.
I just signed up for w!nk bingo because the initial deposit was so low and the bonus is quite high - that, coupled with how easy it is to get a win on that site, it seemed like a good idea at the time!
just thought i'd mention it so that no one else made the same mistake i did! bingo is addictive and i've lost a fiver because i let myself get carried away! lol0 -
about the scratchcard sites please be careful you don't sign up to more st minver sites, there's been a few people who've had their accounts shut down due to "abuse" although there are some who are managing to use about 8 sites. another good one is take a bre ak. you go in via the bingo room i've been getting 25p a day. off to find some more0

I went via quidco. I've deposited £10 but only so I can do the scratchcard. I'm not sure that I'm going to play through the deposit. The cashback was only £10, so you get your money back by the looks of it but no profit unless you make money on the bingo itself?0 -
Nyk, I went through Quidco too for Littlewoods (used the cashback maximiser tool and Quidco came out top). Frankie, you need to play through half your deposit in 3 days to activate the cashback with Quidco. I hate to say this but I'm sure I read that it had to be more than £10 deposit (I put in £11). Sorry if I've got this mixed up but you might want to check Quidco's sign up T&Cs again. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

I signed for Butlins but it's owned by St Minver, the same as Littlewoods, so I may ask OH2B if he'll sign up for the Littlewoods one to avoid any confusion. Thanks for the nod on Take a Br*ak, will have a look for that too.
Sorry Becca, you're probably an expert compared to my novice attempts, I thought I'd been caught out by the B*tlins one but solved problem by paying in a second £10 and then withdrawing it after I'd clocked up a few pennies from the free scratch cards.I reserve the right not to spend.

Purpleroses, did you go through a cashback site for the Takeabreak bingo? I can't seem to find it in any of my usual haunts. Thanks. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

certainly not an expert, nyk! if i was, i wouldn't have lost myself £5 by signing up to a site without cash back! lol.
i've given up on bingo now - sticking with matched betting... although i haven't got very far with that yet!0
